Belfast bridge

brando can you look into fixing the belfast bridge to have a account bank added to it i spent money getting this bridge costume and can't use it because i dont have access to the account bank when i need it. i love the bridge costume.

    Funny. I *just* purchased the DS9 bundle in the C-store, which includes the Belfast Bridge/Interior and came here to post about this.

    You are correct. There are a couple things wrong with this ship bridge/interior (at least 1 is wrong, the other may be intended)

    #1 The ready room, on the crew deck on the far left side of the map (square room on the map), actually has a storage locker as seen in most standard ready rooms on most bridges/interiors. The storage locker is not glowing and there is no option to access the account bank. I can set up 2 shelf trophies and use the glowing computer on the desk to access Federation Diplomatic Envoy and Tactical Department doff assignments though.

    #2 (May be intentional by design) In the back of the bridge there are 2 glowing doors. The only option they have is to go to the Crew Deck. There is no option to go straight to Engineering deck. Engineering has to be accessed via the turbolift on the far top-left corner of the map on the Crew Deck (looks like a room shaped like a hexagon on the map and is straight north up the corridor from the ready room). The turbolift on the Engineering Deck only has the option to go back to the Crew Deck instead of also being able to go straight back to the bridge.

    Getting a bit tiresome already having to travel a long way to check out the interior and access duty officer assignment contacts. All duty officer assignment contacts that have a physical presence on the ship interior are on the Engineering Deck - Chef, Counselor, Scientist, Bartender, Doctor, as well as the 2 contacts in engineering which are suppose to be there anyway - so as I said, we have to take the door on the bridge to the crew deck and travel to the other side to the turbolift to engineering to access the contacts.

    I'm pretty confident this is by design. The bridge of the Defiant-class, unlike pretty much any other starship you'd care to name, is not all by itself on, or even the majority of, Deck 1. If you watch DS9, the exits on the bridge lead to corridors, not turbolifts. So yes, it may be a little inconvenient to not be able to zip directly from the bridge to the engineering deck, but it is accurate to what was shown on the show.

    Actually i have posted 3 or 4 bug reports and i have filled out numerous GM tickets and i am a lifetime member but i still have had 0 response. they got my money and left me hanging in the wind i guess.

    i swear devs say they track posts and listen. but still i get not response what is wrong did i not pay enough to become a lifetime member and before that i was paying month to month spent hundreds getting keys so i could get ships and lobi. do i need to make another donation in cash to get a response to this question that i have asked time and time again and filled out gm tickets and gotten no response there either.


    tell me what i got to do to get a response.

    It is quite interesting that we don't really get much feedback from the Devs, other than negative ones.


    Anyways, back to the topic. Yes, there should be an account bank, and no, the doors on the bridge shouldn't connect to Engineering.

    What should also be fixed is the doors on the ship. The captain's quarters room door is always opening and closing due to NPC traffic, this should be fixed to Player traffic only. Kinda need some privacy once in a while! ;)

    you know cryptic i am still waiting for a response ANY response from you about this belfast bridge and no account bank.

    you rake us over the coals to get the money for it then when we ask a simple question about it you IGNORE us We are what keep you going with cash and you IGNORE us.

    Please Respond i will not thank you in advance for not responding anymore. i think i have been way to polite. so please get off your backside and give a simple answer.

    1. we are clueless how to fix the problem.
    2. we don't care about you only want your money.
    3. we hate you and we are going to continue giving it to you in the backside.
    4. we just don't care about you.
    5. we know there is a problem but you bought it so why should we fix it.
    6. we know there is a problem but we don't know how to program to fix said problem.
    7. we would like to fix the problem but can't be bothered since we don't like you.
    8. we would like to fix the problem but you have been too mean to us and have hurt our
    feelings.
    9. we are never gonna look into the problem because you are not a PvP'r and we only
    cater to PvP'rs.
    10. we don't read posts or GM tickets since we don't like you.

    do you see where i am going with this?? i have gotten 0 responses from cryptic.

    it is not like i haven't been nice about this before if you read my other posts in this thread i think i have thanked them in advance for reading and responding to this post ( which they have not done)

    First off, Brandon has nothing to do with fixing things in game. Secondly, like all gaming companies, posts that are directed towards a particular dev go on the ignore list. Responding to said threads would open a can of worms they don't want opened. Lastly, threads that are titled "Devs respond, please," or something to that effect are also put on the ignore list. Just ask your question? Leave the devs out of it.

    im sorry i keep asking the same question over and over in different posts and GM tickets and still get no response that can't be right and up till now i have asked nicely
