Game Crashed, now I can't get back on

I asked someone for a bridge invite to their freighter, so I can do a doff assignment where they were. The game crashed. Then, I tried signing back in as that character- it said "loading freighter" but it never finished. This morning, when I tried to sign in, it says patching- but it never finishes (Is the game down right now? I was checking to see if there is maintaince going on today.)

Anyway, I even tried just now, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but it still never finishes patching.
