Why does someone have to be a noob to think that opening a uniform pack means you get a uniform? I've been playing this game since 2011 and I was wondering where the uniform was. I thought there was a bug until I found the two parts that they included, which certainly don't make a uniform. It doesn't say in the description for the item that you just get the stupid belts and strap-things they wore in the episode, it says "Yesterday's Enterprise Uniform." In most of the other uniform packs, you get an entire uniform, not just two parts. Cryptic is just being lazy and cheap and nobody who is asking that question is to blame, Cryptic is. Sure, you can put on the Season 1 top, the belt and other thing and look like an extra, but you can't look like a member of the main cast because they didn't include the tops that the main characters wore.

Yep definitely confusing. The reward wording of Uniform does not make much sense when it's just a belt and chest item.

Had to come here to the forums and make sure there wasn't a bug or something and that's really all it was.

Just thought I'd say, there is some misinformation about the color of the officer belts worn by the Enterprise D crew. A quick viewing of the episode on Netflix (or viewing screen caps on Memory Alpha) shows that the NCO and Officer belts are actually the same color (I.e. the officer belt is not gold).
How the Devs see Star Trek, apparently:
    Star Trek: The Original Grind
    Star Trek: The Next Grind
    Star Trek: Deep Space Grind
Star Trek: Voyage to the Grind

This is the same community that took Cryptic to task for all of the little problems that were wrong with the Galaxy class ship model. That hounded Cryptic about the problems with the Sovereign's design, it's deflector dish, it's nacelles, every little piece that was mis-sized or done at the wrong scale. The same community that took Cryptic to task for the skirts they first offered with TOS uniforms, for the tidbits that were wrong with the Mirror Universe uniforms.

And suddenly this "uniform" is no big deal? It's ok with the community?

When I think of Yesterday's Enterprise, I think of some key moments in TNG history. The return of Tasha. The Enterprise C. Captain Garret. Picard's speech about remembering the name "Enterprise."

The uniforms I think of are either the officer uni, or the turtleneck-less Khan era uni. Neither of which this new "uniform" is.

    And it's no big deal?

Wow. Where did all the Trek fans that used to play this game go?

Probably having fun playing the game instead of complaining that two free ships and some new costume pieces weren't enough free prizes for playing a free mission in a free-to-play game.

I would have loved to get either the Jack Crusher top, the mandarin collar TNG shirt, or both - but I am more than satisfied with receiving the Sam Brown belt and the T5 Ambassador.

I assume the completed uniforms will go up for sale, much like the TNG S1 uniform did.

I'm not going to cmplain about a free item being incomplete because they never advertised it. I will nag them for accurate uniforms on the C-Store though.

I like the uniform pieces. Makes an otherwise bland season one TNG uniform much better.

See, that's just it. The items are pieces/accessories. This does not constitute a whole uniform. Thus, it is a misleading misnomer.

Yes it is not a complete uniform, so in that it is misleading.

But it was free. It was unannounced. It was unexpected.

If you want to complain: ask why the C-Store TOS Mirror Uniform has Spock's uniform but does NOT include Kirk's Mirror Sleeveless Wrap-around Tunic......
That is a uniform I paid for (aka NOT FREE).

Cryptic believes we can't handle the Shat. So no Shat for us. :D

A lot of them gave up on this game ever truly being Trek and moved on. Now we get the freeloaders who just want pew-pew and don't care if it's done by ships, spaceships, orcs, gnomes, jedi, or pandas.

It was originally an exclusive item for people who purchased a Lifetime sub for Champions Online and was only advertised as including Spock's jacket then (the female version even wasn't available for quite some time after STO launched). Considering that was only supposed to be available to Champions Lifetime purchasers, no one should really complain since it is available to everyone now for only a couple of bucks.

Imagine if your toon is only wearing those straps and nothing else

At least it's a free strap uniform :D

    Not if your boffs a Saurian..or gorn..or lethean :p

..Regarding the 'yesterdays seatbelt'..I like it - Sure, its can't be recoloured (please make it recolourable...please) but think of it as thus - its got the utility of a weapons harness thats been asked for on forum many times. Now, my boffs don't look like they ducttaped or velcroed a gun to their hip or back!

As to my character, now he finally looks decent - a red tee shirt, boots, cutoff jeans and finally something to hold that absurdly big minigun to his spine :)

It might not be perfect, but don't look a gifthorse in the mouth

I uploaded a video showing how to equip the Yesterday's Enterprise "Uniform" (if you can call it that)

Nope! The sash doesn't scale with the bust size slider - too small and it floats loose, too large and it clips hideously. Its ideal setting is, unsurprisingly, somewhere in the centre.

It was thrown together in rush the belt buckle color, size and placement are off it looks like it is made out of construction paper. We should of received at least a tng top with rounded collar and black ends of the sleeves.

    Very true.
To call that "Yesterdays Enterprise Uniform" is confusing at best, cockiness on a normal day.
Personally i find it just disappointing.
They should have at least make it look like that Belt and Chest Gear from that episode, but what they delivered looks just cheap and sloppy done.
I still hope it's just a WIP and we will get the right upper uniform, with closed collar and black sleeves. I also hope IF they will ever do something like that, it won't look like a sweater anymore (like they did the TNG series uniform) and more like a uniform, similar to the academy uniform.

I agree, this is disgraceful. I am holding out that this is just filler, however, that does not seem to be the case, as they are likely going to try to monetize any further parts of this uniform.

Just finished off Temporal Ambassador sto mission, pretty cool. Except the bug, no uniform.. huge disappointment. I have to say though given the ship I am accustomed to and the Ambassador Cruiser, I'll prefer the heavy-cruiser class with four warp nacelles thank-you.., also to note the number of forward weapon and aft shots were limited to 3, not 4 like in the sto mission, which may have swayed my favor.

That's because the T4 Ambassador was only available during the debut for the mission, now it's just the T2.

these "designers need to stop doing half a job. Anyone with eyes could see that the tng uniform itself in Yesterdays enterprise was slightly different. so why not do the proper uniform????

proper annoying when the little things get left out and its a "that'l do" attitude thats going on.
