I have to say that I do not mind the manheim device. I also have the tipler cylinder but use it less than the manheim device
But I do agree that it is a suicide console though, sadly.
The first few times i used it, I was surpised that I suddenly died.. I had not lost shields or hull but was suddenly gone.. took a few times for me to figure out what happened :P but I got there in the end.
I like the idea of them just being duplicates, just not from the past or future.
At the moment I do not think the console is too overpowered but that is mainly becuase I fell it does not last for long enough in my opinion.
I would use it more often if I wasnt scared of getting killed when one of the duplicates gets killed.
Cool down time is fine, or cold be made longer but only if the time the duplicates was longer.
I also wish i could tell them what to do like carrier pets :P but that is just becuase I like to be in control.... which does not happen often.
