Is anyone else having this problem? For a while now maybe since season 7 (not sure) my key binds aren't showing up on my power bar in ground or space.

It's having a real negative impact on my game experience because I have alot of powers and it's hard to remember which key is for which power all the time. And I fly a lot of different ships which is making it even worse. :(

I searched the forums and bug forums and found a few players with the same problem but no solutions sadly.:(

I having a much harder time doing STFs now and I don't want to PVP like this. It's a real handicap for me.

Do anyone else have this problem now? Is there a fix? Please help, a dev or anyone. It's really ruining the game for me.
Here's before and after pics of my power bar

Moved this to the bugs section so QA can investigate. In the meantime, if you re-assign the keybings under the options to these powers (rows, slots), the display numerals will be visible once again.

    Cheers,

Check all your other bars, up to bar 10 for copies of the abilities. If the ability is in more than one spot, sometimes the game won't know what ti display and not show the shortcut key.

Might be something to do with the boff bug earlier. There was a patch fix on the boff bug and you're needed to reassign your boff slots.

My suggestion is to unassign ur boffs then reassign them. It fixed the problem for me.

There is also another issue on ground, powers are moved all the time to a default place, especially the ones you get from maco/honor guard Mk XII full set. It happens more often on my fed char though. The shield recharge power often goes to the integral remodulator's location and vice-versa.

And last, but not least, when I slot a new device in a device slot, in space or ground, the device won't show up at all. I have to re assign it to the power tray using P. It happens with batteries in space and with hypos on ground, and with the insect repellant you get on new romulus on my fed char (i have completely redone the whole power tray long ago on this one) but there might be more devices involved.

I think the bug is obtained when you move a device/power from its original location in the power tray; it won't show up the new device in the same device slot if it gets emtpy or if you use something else there at some point.

This bug appeard with the season 7 update and it's been reported on tribble long ago.

@ OP please post a screenshot of your options > keybinds where your 1-10 keys are.

i would guess you have your keybinds 1-10 etc. in the right row instead of left.
then the number overlays do not show up, i know because i DON'T want to see them overlays and move my numberkeys always to the right row
...if so move your keybinds back to the left row and the numbers should re-appear.

If you're using bind files, change the commands from "TrayExecByTray" to "STOTrayExecByTray", then the keys will be the primary bound ones and will show on the tray. (Without the STO prefix, the binds still work, but they show in the second column in the ingame options, and as such "secondary" binds, they don't have the key they're bound to showing.)
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

Have you tried scaling your HUD? Scale it up and back and see if they reappear.

This happens to me as well, but I can generally find the new devices in the 5 or 6 row.

I had an issue even before S7, when I was switching my incomplete Mk XII MACO stuff out for Mk XI. The shield heal would appear in the wrong place. So I moved it, and apparently it counted the empty space as a power, because when I would switch to the other set, the shield heal would appear where I had moved the first set's heal from. I was able to switch it around so that it appeared in an empty spot close to where I wanted it.

The big issue with devices for me is that the Romulan reputation system takes large hypos from my equipped hypos first, not from the bank. Then I have to waste time in a PvP match or STF replacing the hypos, moving them to the appropriate slot, after wondering why mashing the button doesn't work and I'm dead.
