How Do You Pronounce "Epohh?"

thlaylierahthlaylierah Member Posts: 2,987 Arc User
Is it:

"Ep-Poh?"

or

"Eep-Poh?"

I'm pretty sure the "Poh" is correct because of the "P'Eppoh-mint" breed.

:)

My take: "Epohh" rhymes with "Prep throw"

I pronounce it Fluffy Slippers, Fuzzy Jacket and Whats For Dinner...

But really, when do we get Roasted Epohh, Honey Glazed Epohh and Epohh Kabab?

Where are the Epohh-mint Jackets? little red bow on the back.

    Ahem:
    History

    1912
Life Savers are introduced in the original Pep O Mint flavor. Chocolate maker Clarence Crane was searching for a sweet treat that would withstand the summer heat better than chocolate. To differentiate his mints from other square, pillow-shaped products, Clarence punched a hole in the middle of his mints. Since the mints looked like mini life preservers, he called them Life Savers. Since its introduction, more than 40 flavors of Life Savers have been created.

I pronounce it "Eee-poff", because it makes them sound even cuter.

    This, or just space bunnies.

Silliness aside, pretty sure it is pronounced as "Eh-poe/Ep-oh" ingame during one of the New Romulus intro cutscenes.. The 'tour' one when he talks about the Epohh Fields, if I'm not mistaken.

    I pronounce it "Ee-po". I don't remember anyone saying it out-loud, though.

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

Them Dev's can't even spell them words right... one time it's "Epohh" next time it's "Eppoh"

in my head i call them the "works for all factions solution, that we got instead of KDF exclusive Targ Breeding! wich would have been actually cool!".... or "that kind of thing for the other end of the target audience that isn't me"

(maybe this sounds more funny in my head ...i don't know)

JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

    "Targ"

Because it's a targ that some lazy modeller pasted antennae on.

+1, I really don't understand the fuss on the epohh pets. The Sehlat Cub and Alfa 113 companions are much cuter. Even the targ pup is preferable, imo.

Now to wait on a beagle like Porthos *rubs hands together*
Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and the players love it! No, seriously! ...Why are you laughing so hard? :(

Well, the elders are making players 400 Romulan Marks a pop when turned in to Toreth on New Romulus. That's enough to get anyone talking :D

But, the official pronunciation is "eee-poe".

    Cheers,
