Plasma Boats are making a comeback... Everyone is switching to Fleet/Elite stuff and losing the Resistance (depending on which fleet/elite stuff you choose of course).
Plasma is back... Get your Hazard Emitters ready... This is going to be a long ride...

3) You are going to die, just get back up
that console enhancing plasma damage is fine, but it really shouldn't be adding plasma proc all by its self. especially when you could potentially stack 2, 3, or 4 of them. hows that supposed to work? does the chance to proc just stack so you can have potentially 5 different roles at 2.5% every weapon cycle? insanity.
take comfort in knowing that particle gen consoles do not buff the plasma dot of energy weapons.
You only get 3 tac consoles on a tac oddy. Also chevron has a 5min cooldown. That means if you die you are stuck with a crappy turnrate and your cannons will probably fail.
a fleet recons with an all plas torp/plas mine build has sick potential, a single cannon fleet excelcior, galor, or a dkora could be good too. is there a vesta with 4 sci and 3 or 4 tac consoles? that could be killer too, bit it cant slot EWP3.
i still think the ktinga is the top plasma ship. can run DHCs, is very maneuverable, can run 2 AtB, can run EWP3, has enough tac skills for a cannon and torp skill, and has 3 tac and 3 sci consoles. against an immovable, or immobilize PVE target, i can deal 10k dps to them with a plasma ktinga, without these new consoles.
that plasma console, they made it specifically for me, i know it lol
the most amazing thing of all, i could stick that plasma enhancer mod on a particle generator! somebody stop the madness! or don't
for my plasma weapon, 3 particle gen and 3 plasma infuser using fleet ktinga, this just pushes the envelope from holy TRIBBLE monster DOT to holy TRIBBLE they are gonna have to nerf plasma related things after they see all this in action!
whats the price per console?
You do know that particle generators no longer boost the DOT proc right? I tested it myself today. I'm going to go for the shield emitter console.
Do they stack or are they all unique / one per ship?
great when did that change. it used to effect torps i know it. it still effects EWP in a massive way though
I keep hearing people say that but I have been using plasma torps for years and every single time I tested particle generators never did anything to DoT.
Since you distinguish the AP torp as an energy projectile, is there any consideration in allowing it to be affected by Embassy plasma consoles? I was under the impression that the reason it didn't affect traditional torps was due to it's kinetic nature, however since this is based on AP one would assume it'd be given a chance to proc the plasma damage just like it's beam and cannon counterparts. Thanks.

Holly mother of necro batman. I suggest you move this to a more recent thread on the AP torp or plasma consoles.

Potentially making SNB DOFFs even more annoying, eh?

If they would stack.... beware the sci vesta.

Take a Tactical or Sci Odyssey.
Fore: 4 x Cannons
Aft: 4 x Turrets
Deflector: Omega
Engine: Omega
Shield: Maco
TT1, CRF1, APO1
TT1, CRF1
ET1, RSP1, EPtSIII, DEMIII
EPtW1
HE1, TSS2
Borg, Tachyokinetic, Chevron, Neutronium
Flow[HuH], FLow [ShH], Flow [Pla]
4x weapon console
2x Damage Control, 3xBFI or maybe one of those new DEM Doffs.
Heck you could drop RSP1 for an A2B and run an APD1 in there, drop a cannon for wide angle torp and run TS1. Then it'd be 3 Techs, 2 BFI
[23:35] Horta deals 1738411 (1538303) Toxic Damage to Centurion Engineer with Corrosive Acid.

Tacs are overrated.
