No we believe we are getting less zen because we are as was proved in the initial post.
U.S. folks get 6050 points for $50, EU folks get 4,950 + 350 + 742 = 6042 zen for ?44.99 which at current exchange rates is $58.38. Hence we get less zen for more money.
Edit: So to sum up PWE is not even offering the same amounts of zen for other currencies to offer a direct comparison.
This is why I 'know' we're getting less.
Our bundles were changed in the last few weeks and now we're getting screwed over. Plus as has been said several times, $50 USD is actually less than 40 Euro, yet we're paying 44.99 Euro, which is closer to $60 USD, but receiving less Zen.

Forwarded a ticket to their support the moment this sale went online, coz I bought the Armitage Heavy Carrier Escort the day before. Nowhere was announced in advance that this sale was going to be held from Wednesday till Sunday, or I would have waited with my purchase. Do you think that I have already received an answer from them. Nada, nothing at all.

You're joking, right? First of all - they don't have to announce anything. Secondly - there will always be somebody who bought a ship one day before the sale. If they announced it - say - on Monday, there would be guys like you who bought a ship on Sunday.
Do as I do - gather Zen, and buy things only when there's a discount. I bought 6 ships since Wednesday.

Still then, we have a little saying where I come from : You will always have a "No", a "Yes" can be obtained. Furthermore, I believe that, if Cryptic or PWE was knowing and intending to hold this sale, a little announcement in advance would have been nice. Also, you don't have to believe me, be I am pretty sure that Cryptic or PWE is perfectly able to track down this purchase and it's up to them if they will make a gesture.
PWE does not announce sales in advance. Ever. For any game. There is a reason for this.
Think about it.
If PWE announced "hey, we're gonna have a sale on X ship next week", are you going to buy that ship at that moment or wait for the sale?
Right. You'll wait for the sale. Rather, you'll wait to buy the ZEN to buy the ship until the sale. It's the nature to wait for the bargains--but it's also lost revenue for PWE. If sales were announced in advance, people wouldn't buy ZEN until the sale, and PWE can't operate on what would then amount to a monthly stipend.
No company announces sales in advance, or else no one would buy anything at any time BUT a sale, and companies can't effectively budget that way.
I don't even see Moneybookers as a payment gateway option in their list of choices (which displays all and tells you if you can use them in your region).
When you go to purchase zen, what region does it think you are in? Because according to their sales team, anybody in the European region can only by in Euros. Still no answer though as to why we have to pay more and get lower amounts.
Err, sorry for the double post. Don't really know why Moneybookers is displayed as such, because they officially changed their name to Skrill some time ago.

That's not completely true, a lot of big companies advertise sales in advance. For example, Amazon announced their black Friday sale was coming a month before it started, most high street retailers announce sales in advance so as to attract customers who may not be in town on those days otherwise, etc.
Though I do agree that PWE never would do that, because as you say, none of us would buy anything until the sale started. It's a little different with big businesses which sell a much larger selection of products.
Sorry, I know it's nit picking, but I just ran an elite STF with people I'm pretty sure couldn't even spell their own names if asked to, so I felt the need haha.

Thanks, I found that out after Google searching them. Though even when I tried using them, the pricing is still in Euros. I guess we should just be grateful we're not being as badly ripped off as those who use the Steam wallet to purchase Zen. Still, some explanation would be nice.

I'd have to agree on the first part...larger "big-box" stores can afford to advertise early because they have other streams of revenue. It isn't like some people can put off going to Wal-Mart, after all, until Black Friday or something.

Haha yeah, "I'm not buying milk this week, there's a sale on Friday so it might be cheaper", doesn't really work out too well.

Same here. I'm at 1,850 right now, but I'm going away for the weekend so I'm worried I'll miss the sale.
Oh, well...there's always First Contact Day.

Whilst I agree with most of your comment, that's a little harsh and inflammatory.
