The Dilthium System reset not on DST - missing 1 hour

The conversion to the next days dilthium turn-over just happened a 7 pm EST - which means your system still thinks it is 8pm EST for dilth daily limit - even thought the clock on the game is correct.

Sector update is also off by 1 hour - right now it is 8 Am EST but sector switched is happening in 3 hours and not 4

this is also wrong - again the main clock is still showing as right - but internal stuff appears off.

Presumably the system just jumped with the change in daylight savings time. But note that different places in the world switch to different daylight savings times at different days of the year, so this will probably never be accurate for everybody.

I would just not worry about it.

No it is supposed to reset at 8pm EST not 7pm

    also

the sector duty officer re-set is to happen as 8am 12pm 4pm - etc

today it happened so far at 7am and 11am

    this is not right.

Yes. Presumably what is happening is that the system is not dealing well with daylight savings time changes. As you note, it is one hour off local time.

However, as I pointed out, daylight savings time changes at different times of the year in different places.

It seems to me that what is happening is that the system updates every four hours on an internal clock. It so happens that daylight savings time has caused your local time to change by an hour. As a result, it seems to you that the time is off, when in fact, nothing has changed other than what time you think it is.

    How is this a bug?

But it's not even a one hour difference! :P

It's working exactly like it did before. The fact that you changed your clocks isn't STO's fault. :P

Ok the overall point is that Cryptic is based in the US - the time changed 1 hour back in the US - but the internal metric clock of the doff system and dilth system did not change with the clock change in THE United States! Which is also where the bulk of their players are.

That is strange - if not a bug.

Considering they can't even get the time on the forum correct for Pacific Time. Don't hold your breath. The only reason it's correct now is because of the clocks going back.
