Have to agree, went on tribble to see the new content and I must admit to been impressed by what I've seen. Only indended to be there 5-10mins max but ended up spending 3 and a half hours there! So much to do and see, there's small touches in graphics that just starts to finish off STO and the large multi-player dimension to the game really opens STO in a different dimension. Drawn into a fight that's not yours and/or coming across someone who's died and bringing them back even when they're not teamed with you is just brilliant, imagine doing that at ESD.

The new reputation system looks good as it gives the single player a structured outlay to earn equipment and though may drain resources from fleet projects it gives the individual a chance of improving themselves with collected resources instead of having to wait to use it in a certain fleet project.

All in all a very good addition with no bugs experienced during my 3 and a half hours game play from running around the new planet to fighting in space in nearly every system, just got the frustrating wait for the release to make progress with it on the live server....

so far i find it very releaving they are making worlds that you can land on, and lookaround and do stuff. i wish thay would have done this to every world.the new Romulan home world: I am not sure i like tha time limit or the amount of things you have to kill/do to complete the emergency area quests, with the few people playing it will most likely never be possible to finish. i like the wild life very nice. not sure if i am liking the go around and collect plants. I really like the new cut scenes i wish they had implemented it early on. more voice acting, i really wish i could just eves drop on diffrent npcs conversation with my ears. npc also dont always say what is actully going on, they usually just say we need more secerity. then you have to read the rest.

Looks awesome...unfortunately I can't play for very long as my screen keeps blinking making it nearly impossible to play :(...I'm assuming there must be a problem with how the graphics card reads the new patch.

Haven't found any bugs so far. I'm enjoying the gameplay a LOT. I wish I had some constructive criticism, but I just can't find anything I don't like. Well done team.

Something's wrong with one of our fleet projects on Tribble - says we need 6 DOFFs and that all six have been contributed, but it does NOT show that it's filled - still says I can contribute (although it doesn't allow me to.)

Edit - this is happening on multiple fleet projects. The interesting thing is that it's only happening on the left column of items, not the right.

I just saw that as well. Ditto on the left vs. right.

My /bug report: Despite flying in Ship A (my escort), NPCs were addressing me with my Ship B name (my shuttle).
The ship selection UI is not quite clear on what the radio buttons and confirmation button are actually doing for me, but I can see they're on the right track with it. So glad to have shuttles come into their own finally. ;)

Went to the Asteroid Mining and the equipping of the EVA suit is messed up. I place it on my body, but cannot activate it - it's blank on the powers tray. What's interesting is that it shows as on me on both my status screen and in the environment - even though it's not equipped. Of course, I can't exit the airlock because it's not equipped.

Tried out the season 7 stuff and so far like what I see. Content is overall good, like others have said though there appears to be too much of some things, ie go to this system and fight five waves of ships, next system same etc. I alos liked the addition of a number slot on the regen and ship repair menus, wish this could be added to supply dumps as well.

The new reputation system does seem like a good way to extend the game play, and the New Romulus experience is awesome in its scope.

I did run into a few stalls in loading areas, and alos some slow down during some combat scenes. Whether this is my system or the game I don't know but just to put it out there.

One thing I noticed on some of the New Romulus missions when getting samples, if there are a few really close to each other, when I get samples from all of them, the samples seem to reset and I could try to gather it again. Even though it says I did (and the items in my inventory increased,) the % complete does not always increase.

Need to increase the number of items we can purchase from the Cargo ship at one time.

We played on the Tribble-test server the PvE, Into the Hive (Elite). We did not get the Omega Marks and the neural processor that we were suppose to get as a reward for completing the misson. By the way, it took us over and hour to complete that mission and several of the players were extremely equipped for the mission.

II like the separation of starships and small craft in the ship selection panel.

    Nice touch!

The radiation games is a little inconsistent - at least on the up/down buttons.... I found that moving the signal up and down to match the latitude part, a single up or down may move it a lot or sometimes a little. I did NOT have the same problem with left/right - it was consistent.

Tried to get into a "Red Alert" when it popped up in space in the new sector block, but got kicked out right after the cut scene. Happened multiple times.

Noticed there's a massive price increase for doff reassignment missions. 500 dilithium for common reassignment, 2500 for uncommon and 5000 for rare is just way too much.

After a while at New Romulas, I began getting in to it. Lots to explore. I found the new Flora and Fauna to be interesting and like the involvement of the Tal-Shiar. I will be looking forward to season 7.

The first two times I played Into the Hive on 11/3, I wasn't able to collect Omega Marks at the end. I tried again on 11/4, and I was finally able to collect them.

Ok, I am sure most of these have been posted, but I will add my 2 cents worth in.

    1) Doff reassignments have way too much of a dilithium requirement. If you wish to add a price, add an EC price to it.

    2) The idea of working on a reputation like you would a starbase is not a good idea. Reputation should come from working with that faction and should be automatic, not bought. (like the experience you get from doff missions). A better scenario would be to grind for untradeable resources, then use those resources for a doff mission.

    3) The reputation store I have no idea on... It takes 2 days to unlock the first tier... so mine is not unlocked yet.

    4) during the plant gathering, my Boff got stuck behind a plant... I was forced to continue without him for about 10 minutes. He got stuck between a glowing plant and a huge boulder wall.

    5) on the custenance to New romulus, the cut scene to my character showed only my chest, not my head. Perhaps my character is too tall, but it should be based on the upper part of the character.

    6) While fighting a tholian red alert, I was "instakilled".. I had no idea what killed me, but backlogging, I saw I took a 100,000 Kinetic damage hit. There is nothing that can be done for something like that. I did not get any warning of the impending destruction. The Alert ended, I died three times and didn't get a chance to see more than one enemy...we lost.

    7) The exit areas for the sectors seemed to co-ordinate with the physical locations.. that's good. Could you do the same for the other sectors? (I.E. Vulcan goes to Argelius, Orion goes to Celes, etc..)

    8) one of the graphics showed the weapons being offline for one of the enemies. Although this is good, Perhaps you should have the option to turn it off for people who want to view it in cinematic mode. Any words in cinematic mode are anti-eye candyish.

    9) The update with the HUDS are nice, but like all other MMROPGs I've played, I've always seen some discontent amongst the laptop users. I don't know how STO works for laptop users, but even though you work on upgrading the graphics, don't forget the masses on the other end of the spectrum.

I would like to echo something said. The Tau Dewa Patrol missions were excellent. Variety and not all of them were shoot outs. Treachery, Faith, and the Great River was one of my favorite DS9 episodes so I really liked that trading mission. Please more of this everywhere.

I disagree...lot's of bugs. First at Earth space-dock on Friday and Saturday I could not create a new fleet.
The first 2 PVE missions my Romulan and Omega marks were not allocated.

Further on New Romulus the "insect repellent" did not work....I kept spraying and nothing happened until I died.

Further on New Romulus the "lag" was so bad I could hardly control my character.

    all looks good!

I do like the added graphics of when you create a shield in a ground action, the sheld pattern on the ground is a lot bolder and you can see it better..

I got to play over the weekend, and I must say... spectacular!

At first I was reading the blogs, and saw that Tholian space combat looked like it was going to be in STFs.

when I got to Tau Dewa, and the first patrol I ran had Tholians ships, I was ecstatic!

    And wow, are they tough!

I posted in the feedback thread about the mother nortov, but I also found a typo in one of the dialogue boxed during the Gleki hearding mission, I think it is in Golondon Kor system.

But the scene and backdrops form New Romulus were amazing.

Actually, if you just continue on and gather other samples, you'll keep increasing in %.

It is interesting though that turning in samples increases % complete.... I figure that should be at the end after 100% sample gathering.

The ONLY other...critique I have with the setting is for a solo player it is DAMN hard to advance past the area "collect marks" stage.

I know you are pushing fleet play a bit more this season and that's cool, Still...a little more ability to advance the tiers when you are a solo player is something I ask you to consider a bit more :)

    Thanks

One thing that has been getting on my nerves. The repel insect swarm mission keeps activating when I just walk on to the map. I hadn't even spoken to the scientist responsible and gotten the bug spray when the mission just kicked in.

Can we get a keybind command for it?

    Thanks.
