    I cant speak for other members using the ability, but its still a legitimate skill to be used, and hence i wont sanction members who do use it. The chance of the bug happening is debateable, some say more, some say less. But as always tell us in chat so we can redo match.

    AMS bugs/ceases evasives on an opponent's ship. Thus, shouldn't be used. Get Trinity on the phone and let him know about both.

    Him and Enginity, have been going around the queues with He-Borg running AMS, Scramble, and Runabouts on people.

    Now I'm not the one to tell you not to use it. Nobody can make you do it. But some people just lack the mutual respect.

    The other day someone said: "I'll use SN Doffs rather you like it or not, so you can either whine or we can keep going" This was said to one of my guys from Critz.

    So those people can go ahead, use your fun consoles but don't expect respect in return. Also, don't expect anybody to pay you the consideration when using such abilities/doffs.

    Even if the chance for the bug to trigger is minimal, it can still alter the outcome of a match very strongly. And the "proc chance" can be increased by using SS intensivly.

    Also, the chances for a game crash or a disconnect due to internet problems are minimal, yet those things happen and clearly affect a game in progress.

    Most PVP fleets don't use AMS anyway. Besides, there is another bug that can be triggered when using SS and AMS together.

    Yes, SS is a legit skill to be used. When it's not bugged.

    We were using Scrambles Sensors also in one of our premade setups but we don't anymore. Because it's bugged.

    Well, he does not really have a point. Cryptic is well aware of that bug but so far they have been unable to fix it. The only "workaround" that is available for the pvp community atm is to abstain from usage of SS.

    Well, when we discover exploits, bugs or whatever, we don't use them to stomp pugs. I don't think using the SS bug on pugs will help fixing the issue. If you really want to contribute then try test it for yourselves in a controlled environment. Don't be surprised if there is backlash when bringing bugs into the queues.

    EDIT: I'm sorry if there is the impression now that we're bashing on TSI. That is not our intend. What we really would like to see is the bug to go away. Maybe you, TSI, can help out the community by doing some tests?

Unlike TSI, pandas (for the most part ;) ) leads by example and tries not to use P2W consoles and other abilities known to be broken. That has slipped a bit in the last couple of weeks (no disrespect guys, you know I still love ya), but there fleet mantra is still to make the game more fun for pvp. Using broken abilities is not fun. Your two mentalities are quite a bit different and I would hope the community would lean more towards pandas methods than yours.

    I know nothing I say will change your minds to not use these abilities as history has proven over and over again. We keep having this discussion over and over again for years now. As you pointed out, siphon drones have ruined klink pvp. If your theory were true, it would have been fixed long ago. Instead, no one wants to queue fvk anymore.

    I know this sounds harsh, but I do want to once again say that you guys have done a lot for pvp and I still respect that. You guys were facerolling me when I first started pvp'ing and I learned a ton about game mechanics from you. Aytanhi was always willing to answer any q's I had about how the game worked and for that, I am very grateful. Hell, I even asked him for a fleet invite a looooooong time ago when he was still flying a star cruiser.

    Note for SS: Yes its bugged, and yes i know something should be done. But when a ship dies is not something we can predict while the scrambler effect is on. Its not something a fleet does intentionally, but just randomly happens. And thats the last i will say on the issue, as the problem lies within Cryptics ability to FIX the freaking problem.

    Back to biz:

    Oh, i will say TSI is hardly presumptious, but just like the elves of Middle Earth just fading away for humans (Pandas) to take over. Our glory days are over, we know that and the remainder of us are just enoying the game as we see fit. And to be very very honest with you and the others playing, its about TIME someone took over the pvp mantra, and can lead the pvp crowd onwards. I feel as one of the founders of TSI that we have commited, dominated, ruled and set an example for others, and set our name strongly among the stars. Many of the older members left cause there was nothing more to do, no more to achieve in consideration for the course of the games development. Thats why the most of us are now playing GW2, as a way to further improve ourselves.

    As for using p2w stuff, thats the evolution of the game, something which made the core of TSI members upset and left, myself included. Ive just returned due to nostalgia. And since p2w stuff is out, and almost EVERYONE is using it, said members are just trying to adapt and compensate for not falling behind. In sincerity they are just evening the playingfield.
    As for Aythani he is now facerolling everyone with his elementalist :D

    No offense taken at all. Dont see the need to view or interpret it that way either. As for testing, I guess Hilbert is doing it already. If not, maybe the new big boys on the block, le Pandas, could maybe take some extra effort and prove they are worth of taking over the pvp mantra and do something extra *hint hint*

    if this bug has "always" been here, it must have meen seriously infrequent, as I, after 100s of matches never experienced it or heard of it... But in the match we had the other day, the traylock was pretty much happening on every death. Either something else got broken, or there is a combo causing this, that hasn't been popular before.

    It would be nice to find some way to reproduce this, so we could present it to the devs...

    we need to start keep track of what other procs/effects youre under when this happens to you, what gear/equipment you have on as well.

    we need to find a common factor between all this because its not just scramble sensors. if it was it would happen each time someone is scrambled and killed, but its not. that means there has to be something else in addition to scramble sensors to trigger this.

    start keeping notes guys.

    The lockout happens if a player respawns while still scrambled, i.e. only when the remaining scramble duration at the time of death exceeds the respawn timer of 15s and the player presses the respawn button before the scramble runs out.

    Easy ways to avoid the bug:
    1) Don't respawn while you still have the SS icon counting down.
    or
    2) Spec into sensors. Then only the most unfortunate circumstances (full aux + full spec SS3 + death immediately after being hit by SS) have a chance of giving you an SS timer that is longer than the respawn timer. And in these rare cases apply 1).

    This also strongly implies (as a lot of us already suspected) that the "invisible ship" bug is caused by some sort of active proc, buff or action being taken while respawning.

    This makes sense.

    All TRH builds have points in sensors. Which also explains why we have been unsuccessful replicating the bug for the Devs.

    Furthermore, it would appear those that do not have points in sensors not only experience the effect of this ability, but also the bug tenfold.
