Sounds like something that needs to be seen more in this section right now to me.
Everyone who posts a thread thinks it needs to be seen, but that doesnt change the fact that this is not discussion about the actual game itself but rather a promotional trailer.

Well speaking of game stuff can anyone tell me what suit they are wearing at 1:01 - floating down a corridor? Where is that? is that the STF Omega?
I think all those Trekkies from the 60's that saved the show back then should band together and buy the game.
The random bajillionaire star trek fan is also acceptable.
Or all those guys from Bioware that ran away from TOR.
I think many of those older folks would care less about a Trek game, let alone this one that poops all over the iP.
Instead of buying this one, why not just create a better Star Trek MMO by acquiring the iP. Start fresh from the gound up. STO is too far gone to the darkside to even salvage.
Outdated Ground play mechanics that borders on the old PS1 Lara Croft Tomb Raider days, heck even the PS1 Tomb Raider days were alot more fun than STO's ground action, despite TR horrible clunky controls.
The Space Arcade combat mode etc... list goes on.
Point about Bioware:
Its proven that with Bioware extreme budget on TOR, the game is considered a mish mesh flop. It is in essence a single player game with bits and pieces from WoW & RIFT.
Bioware excels in single player games, and with TOR in the forefront of going F2P, this has proven to us that they should stick with single player games they normally do. Example: ala Mass Effect / Dragon Age.
MMO's isn't all about pretty graphics & deep story arcs, those are just key components to the overall experience. the true heart of any MMO experience aside from its lore & storyline, are the gameplay mechanics that will meet you half way in that experience.
Anyone who knows Levi3 and my Bi-polar posts - I flip from pro-cryptic to anti-Cryptic sometimes daily - should know that if I have got tired of the ranting going on then it's become too much.
The forums are active now - but I have been here on the days when you could hear a pin drop and would post things just to try to keep the community alive - some might have liked it, others not.
Instead of talking about what they are doing - why don't we try to come up with some civil ideas of small things that they could implement to offset some of the new changes?
I would like to see the ability to buy more doff space - maybe an expansion to 600 slots
I would like to see an increase in the refinement cap - perhaps to 10k per day
I would like to see them allow fleets to make some customization options to starbases - like fleet flags, a big holo-emblem of you fleet badge inside and something on the exterior.
So what about you guys?
Delay season 7 for a few years to work out the bugs, i would go for that

My side: I love this game!
Do I always agree with evereything? No. Are there many things that bug me? Yes.
but they don't change my overall feelings towards the game.

Watch the trailer as a Fed player and then tell me it does not make you feel like staying in the game.

I am wondering if that is a foundry mission where they are floating through the corridor, I don't remember it being a story mission.

I'll still be here. Doesn't cost a thing to play this game, and boy is the Foundry epic!
Hopefully when I do spend its just enough to keep the servers going and not funding some Chinese mongrel's limo made by sweatshop peasants.
"Last Engage! Magical Girl Origami-san" is in print! Now with three times more rainbows.
Support the "Armored Unicorn" vehicle initiative today!
Thanks for Harajuku. Now let's get a real "Magical Girl" costume!
Indeed. I rather prefer to fund an American mongrel's limo made by sweatshop working poors in the US too.
