I just joined last night, and I will attest to the fact that no one has forced me to do anything against my will!!
    ;)

Seriously, Dude was very forthcoming and helpful, and totally no-pressure. And I soloed along my merry way, still learning the ropes. Thanks, Dude, looking forward to a long, drama free experience! :)
Please reconsider ARC. Please make it optional, at the least. PLEASE.
It seems the vast majority of your most active players (forum regulars) hate the idea... and while that's a small subset of the playerbase, I think it's an important constituency.
THE PLAYERS DO NOT WANT THIS.

    Here with another update.

We're nearing 40 members now, with 41 total characters in the fleet, projects have been getting traction and we've finished our T3 fabricator funding, and it should be done in 5 days.

We are still looking for new members, so come on and apply!

Alright, there is a little problem now, apparently, I can't receive any mail for some reason, so, instead of a mail, just send me a friend request. If you've sent me a mail in the last couple of day and didn't get a response, it's because I haven't received it, just send me a friend request.

Fleet works just as advertised, nice way to be able to access Fleet equipment, and Mr Dudes little starbase is growing nicely, so we all profit.

I am looking for a well established fleet with experienced players who I can learn from and enjoy PVE type stuff with. I am not online a lot though.

Well, we may not really be for you then, our main draw is not the social aspect, but the carefree attitude. We do have people online most of the time now, and I'm sure some would be happy to show you the ropes and run a few STFs with you, but no one is obliged to do so, neither we have scheduled times for PVE events or anything. What we can offer you is a fleet with no strings attached. If you are still interested we'll still have you, but keep in mind what we are really about so you can adjust your expectations.

In other news, we have finished our T3 fabricator, and should be starting our T3 comm array by tomorrow, T3 shipyard and transwarp gate should follow as soon as the comm array is operational. We'll leave the starbase upgrade itself for last so we don't get our science and military tracts stuck waiting for upgrades. So we're unofficially on T3 right now, get applying people!

    Here with another update.

Our dilithium mine has reached the T1 experience mark for both development and trade today, funding has begun on the development facilities and it should be under construction in the next couple of days, so join now and have your warp cores by next week!

Been a while, but here's another update:

The T3 shipyard is done, ship provisions are a plenty, T1 trade upgrade is also finished, along with the T2 diplomacy upgrade. We're currently working on the T2 recruitment upgrade and the T3 starbase upgrade itself. T2 development is almost within reach, and we should start work on that in a few days.

So come on, send me that mail and I'll toss you an invite.

Been trying to drop you an in-game mail, but the system keeps faulting out and telling me I can't send you a mail with an attachment (which I'm not trying to do anyway).

If you can, drop me a line @SeaRaptor.

    Here with an update:

We've finished our starbase upgrade, we're officially T3 now, work has begun on the T3 transwarp conduit.

On the dilithium mine front we're almost done with the funding for the T2 development upgrade, on the embassy we have the T2 diplomacy upgrade completed and the T2 recruitment one slotted, however, we're focusing on the mine first for those sweet discounts.

We still have plenty of room left and my mail is still broken, so contact @harewode or @silk121 if you want to join us.

    A bit late with this,

Is OP's fleet still signing up?

I'm looking for a fleet that accepts casual players who can not commit to set times/events. For me work and family make it difficult to make sure I can be on and stay on at any time (and we know how much AFKers are loved here).

Because of this I stick to mainly solo stuff and the sector alerts and maybe mirror invasion (as it is usually quick). For good or bad I'm more of a quiet person.

I am happy to contribute to the base etc as its the only way to get the fleet credits to get the equipment (and I do have my eye on a few things, but not too many).

Forum name is my ingame handle. Let me know either way.

Yes, I fly a Dreadnought cruiser. Deal with it.

Do you guys have anyone on in GMT time zones?

Im a returning player, been out for quite a few months and ive come back and things seemed to have changed.

Anyways, im on most nights, im not one of these people that want to be the best of the best, im on to have fun (although, that doesnt mean i dont want to be good and understand).

Anyway, i like doing team ups (as long as i know what im doing) and am willing to help anyway i can (as long as that goes both ways of course).

I'll need some help as ive rerolled onto a science and i have no idea what im doing lol.

    Anyways, my handle is Reen@pizzy84.

(also, i do still have my lvl 50 tac character im willing to use if needed for anything, he just has little to no equipment)

This fleet sounds right up my alley. Social, to pressure, and it looks like you're always working on something, or there might always be something to do.
