When I said 'crawl' I meant it in a figurative sense. He used several wrecked ship props that are barely large enough for you to walk through.

There are a few pieces of nacelle debris in foundry. I used the two that lead upwards to create my damaged turbolift shafts taking players up and down three floors. The downside, is that boffs won't venture inside, so the player is alone from that point forward.

Oh cool, that's really clever!
I spent about a week making an amazing map with tubes and THEN tested it... I was not happy lol Had to settle with a 'Lower Decks' map inspired by the Elite Force Game.
Anyone else here Gagging for them to add the Tholian & Facility 4028 Interior Pieces with Omega and MACO Costumes into Foundry!?

That was me. I though you were using the challenge as a cheap way to have a lot of people playing your mission.
Since you took time to explain, apologise, and you seems honest, I'll edit my review to reflect your work.
Good luck for your next work
Thanks much. I appreciate that. I've been messing around with all the maps and FX and realized I've only just scratched the surface of what's available. The other missions here are wonderfully done and lend to inspiration for me to do better on my next project.
First: thank you for the mission Rode the Six Hundred . I liked it a lot. Especially all the optional choices.
This leads me to the question: are you planning to create a continuation of this story? I didn't open the barrel and took it with me to my ship and now I am so so so so so curious what's in it! ^^
Maybe I have to replay the mission to learn it *smile*

Thank you very much. I try to give as many options as possible in the mission to give the player choices.

Well, if you play another path or set of choices you can open the barrel. There are ultimately 4 endings. The 4th is only available if you make certain options at the end.
I have thought about adding to the mission and creating a sequel after the current challenge is over. I guess it will depend on two things. 1) The feedback 2) How long it takes me to complete the current series I'm working on.
Maybe I have to replay the mission to learn it *smile*
I did try to give people a reason to replay it. For example, did you try to the Engineering path that lets you set off the cannons? Did you find the secret 4th ending? Did you open the barrel or not? etc.
I'm really glad that you liked it. Thank you for the feedback.

I did open the barrel and ran through the multi-choice conversation at the entrance. All I have to say is... that fight was hard lol. But it was fun.

On the ground, it is possible to have a huge fight, a medium sized fight or no fight at all. In space, it is possible to destroy one entire squadron before the battle even starts. One of the career paths lets you do that.
Just for the record.... when you get to the part where there is a choice between giving the barrel to the Dominion, the True Way or keeping it for yourself.... My first thought was to break it open insterad of giving it to either side OR keeping it. At this point I was guessing that it was probably a changeling...

It is true that I didn't give that as an option there. My reasoning behind not giving that as a choice at that moment is two-fold. First, you have already decided to open the barrel or wait to open it on the ship. Second, I figured you would be too busy with the Founders and Jem'Hadar to be opening anything at that moment.
Well, I think I am going to replay it with my science officer. So I can choose different optionals and open the barrel
Yeah, the final ground battle was very tough. Luckily I could hide behind a shield and beam out before they killed me.
Cool. I didn't even think of that as a possibility. Since the mission objective at that point is to beam back to the ship, it is technically possible to do it and avoid the combat even after it is triggered. I guess I never thought of someone being able to pull it off. Cool. Sneaky but cool

What did you guys think of "sanctuary for the lost"?
I played it today. So here's my personal opinion:
I really appreciate all the time and energy the author spent for creating the characters (-personality) and their background story. Most of the dialogues felt right (Klingon who speaks like a Klingon and so on). The story itself was good and tells me how I got my Jem Hadar BO
The biggest issue of this mission is that it was overload. Nearly everything gave me a feeling of "That's too much of it!".
The dialogues were good but way to long. Some of them were unnecessary (like the Navigationsofficer who apologized for nearly hitting the comet or the "small-talk" with all the commanders on the Aquarius-bridge).
I am deeply sorry but after 1 hour I really lost my interest in the story so I stopped reading and only pressed "f" until it was over.
Same for the Warp-flights. The first few times it was fun but after that it became annoying.
Another example for the feeling of overload was on the cardassian station where I have to scan 9 (!) things in one room. Why not only 2 or 3? The story wouldn't be different if I scan less...
I think this would be a wonderful RP-/Story-Foundry mission if some of the things I listed were reduced. So I hope the author doesn't take my "criticism" personal.
Actually I liked the mission somehow but as I said for me personally it was too much.
I've been made aware that starting sometime this afternoon, my mission (Dark Alliance Part 1) has become completely bugged. During a map transition, a popup error appears that reads "Couldn't Transfer Character" before you are booted out to the login screen.
I don't recall any patches today, nor have I published any updates to the mission. So, I honestly have no idea what's going on. I'm going to post and submit tickets for it wherever possible.
It would be nice if other players stopped with the one star ratings. IMO, if an in-game bug crashed my game during a mission... I would usually simply choose to not rate the mission at all. Most likely, it's not the author's fault. That's what email is for. Now I'll get off my soap box.
I'm with you on that one. You can really tell from the comments who those and those not use Foundry!
I'm actually really looking forward to the end of the contest so that I can repost mine with all the edits and updates.

Did anyone find the Doctor Suess, the Baseball and The Wright Brothers references ?
