More Zen Promotion Fail?

So I got this email from PW telling my they're giving me a 15% discount on Zen purchase... which is awesome cause I still wanna by myself that new Armitage Carrier... I miss my old Thunderchild class escort.

Problem is, the discount only works if I click on the "code" in the email, which is a Web URL Link embedded in it and links me directly to "billing.perfectworld.com", where it wants me to verify my billing account first...

Problem is, I play STO for Free, through Steam, and use the Steam Wallet to make my C-Store purchases... I don't have a billing account with PW...

So how can I use this Code through that?

i had to use my via the PWE zen site...not steam..... when you purchase zen there is a code box under where you select how much zen you want to purchase...cut/paste code into there and you'll see the 'total zen' amount on the right sidebar reflect the 15% bonus...

    hope that helps...and good hunting

Thats greeeat... but, Im not sure how to do that, since I don't have a billing account with PWE, and it won't even let me into the "purchase Zen" web page without verifying a billing account with them...

But since, I don't have one, I can't verify one...

I always just buy it from In-Game via my Steam Wallet...

the big question is...MAKE SURE the link is actually TO billing.....it could be a same where the hover over Says one thing but the link in the bottom left/right corner is completly different.

in short, just be careful...if its a code then type the code into the code entry box when getting zen.

I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p

    Ok.

But again, how do I do that through the Steam Wallet from within the Game?

Thats where I buy my Zen, from within the Game itself...

Is there a spot where I can type the code in while I'm in the game?

I suspect that the point is to encourage you to set-up a PWE billing account. I don't think that Steam was thought out as an option. You could always do just that for promotions of this type. And stick to Steam for everything else.
