I must say what a disappointment Cryptic you where doing so well for a time, now your back to putting out a patches that breaks more then fixes stuff. Now Missions and STF are non-playable
Did CGE this morning and couldn't get through it, despite being a well-equipped and experienced group. They've now added one-shot plasma sweeps and forced bolts, hypos had a several second delay (thus resulting in more deaths than I'm normally accustomed to). Eng kit nerf also limited my usefulness.
Granted, this was one group, it just seemed infinitely more difficult than before. Will see.if my experience changes at all.
A really good example of this is the "Night of the Comet" mission. I created a new Fed Character and have been playing through all the missions. When I got to the final part of destroying the comet, the same old gamebreaking bug came up again:
When destroying the comet, it either
1) Never breaks up into the three fragments.
2) Some of the fragments never break into the three shards.
3) None of the fragments break into shards.
I tried over 10 times to complete the mission last night and was still unable to get it to spawn the fragments or shards.

You say the problem is with Cryptic. Is it the same with PWE?

I can honestly say it's just Cryptic I have played one of PWE games and did not happen there, This has kind always bin an issue with Cryptic, lately they where doing so well, and now there back to there old ways again fix one thing break 3 other things ("fuxed up" look it up) and yes I know that are always going to be new bugs but with Cryptic it's also reintroducing old bugs again.
Just to be sure, I used my PWE account to play a scenario I'd been having trouble with (Stranded in Space) and found many of the problems I'd seen discribed elsewhere in the bug forum had been eliminated... Not all, but enough that I could complete the mission if I followed the standard bug fix instructions. The only bug I encountered was that my away team dissapeared when I went into my equip screen, only to reappear when I respawned.
So, It's possible that Perfect World is just taking over maintenance, or perhaps it was just a coincidence that following the instructions worked this time.

Stranded in space is completely bugg out the butt I just played it 10 times and still keep coming up with more buggs.
The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.
Found another bug. In "Doomsday Machine", when I let K'valk out of the brig, he just disappeared. So now I can't talk to him and finish that mission either.

It's a cryptic thing, whenever they fix something they break something else, it's not new...they have done it many times long before PWE took over.
Night of the Comet, Stranded In Space, Ground STFs (all of them), Researcher Rescue, and the Romulan missions are FUBAR as well.
Romulan heavy plasma torps get about half-way to the target then reverse course and smite the launching vessel. The small swarms of smaller Romulan ships, they target each other and destroy each other utterly. It is HILARIOUS.
Frankly I am baffled by how these errors get introduced.
The things they worked on and patch-noted should not have introduced these errors.
From now on I'm doing a more comprehensive test-run on tribble. Two story missions and two STFs to test everything. That is, when they decide to actually let us test things rather than give us a 18 hour window.

KA, and to many Missions to list
In KA the Borg just vanish or appear to fall thru the floor meaning you can't complete because the force field dose not drop,
