Starbase Promo Ended Early

The time we had to purchase the Starbase Limited Time promo was to be 1pm local time. Here the servers are down at 10am local time. With 200,000DC on the line, I can't get to my Starbase to finish a financial transaction.

    The blog on the Special Project clearly states:

    This special project will be available around 10AM PDT on September 6, 2012, until around 10AM PDT on September 20, 2012.

    And anyone who's played this game a few weeks knows the server always goes down at that time on Thursday.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    I was not sure myself, as my Special Projects are usually completed in a matter of minutes due to my Fleet size. It's nice to know!

    thecosmic1: You were less than helpful. And FYI, on the project itself, it stated that it would end at 1pm. You will also have to excuse the fact that I don't have the server down times for STO memorized. You will also have to excuse the fact that I do not run to the blog to confirm everything the game states. My ignorance pales to your superior social skills.

    To everyone else: Thanks for the tip on the time overrun. I had not known that either. Lovely documentation lol.

    Well, since you've only been on the new forum a little over 3 months (13 maintenance weeks) with any luck you'll figure out the maintenance cycle eventually. But if you can't figure it out I'll still be around in 2 weeks to point it out to you again - when the next Special Project starts. :)
