Ok, so I bought the Fleet Scourge Destroyer ship. Paid quite a bit for it too.
Then I went to the ship tailor, and was at first disappointed by the lack of customization available... Then I figured I'd just change the colour and windows, but...
When I tried to save it, I was told I had to buy the lower tier version for
1500 CP to unlock it! To change the colour of the markings!
Please tell me this IS a bug, and that a fix is planned!

Similar problem with the Armitage carrier (the C-Store one; I don't know about the fleet carrier because my fleet doesn't have access to it yet). I try to change the material to Veteran, and it says I need to buy the Armitage costume from the C-Store. HOWEVER, I own it, the price is labeled as "Free," and it won't let me "purchase" it again because it's "already in my inventory." Thus, I cannot customize my ship.
Furthermore, the TOS Connie has NO customization options anymore (not even materials, windows, or, for that matter, patterns), when it used to have all the standard ones.
Sorry for the topic hijack, but I thought this was pretty well related.
Anyways, Devs, please fix the ship tailors (and the server stability while we're at it).
I have this problem, too. I found that if any of the materials are from the Armitage that you can't do anything to it, but if you exclude it it's fine
Even though it's not technically my topic, I say it's all good as it's all ship tailor related
As for the Armitage, since you bought it in the c-store have you tried decomissioning and reclaiming it? I've heard this works, but I personally haven't tried it since I don't own the Armitage.
This problem has had reports going back as far as July for christs sake, and at one point Branflakes (i think) had posted in one of the several threads that "It's being looked into". Really?? Is it?? I really have to wonder because 3 months seems to be far too long for getting somthing that should be fairly simple like this fixed.
This posting might sound a bit negative, and that's because it is, and I'm sure if i said what i wanted to i'd get some fool warning. The reason it sounds/reads this way is simple. The more I see how things get "fixed", "looked into", "working as intended", and otherwise flat ignored, the more frustrated, irritated, and plain disgusted I'm getting with the people who are supposed to be taking care of bugs. So come on and do the job that the players are paying you to do.
