My fleet just completed the Tier 3 Industrial Fabricator on a Fed starbase. It seems like at the elite weapons level, there are just two energy types: phaser and disruptor. Moreover, not all types are available: there is no elite disruptor pulsewave or sniper rifle, nor any disruptor pistols, as far as I can see (though there is the rather useless disruptor Blast Assault and the ever-annoying miniguns...)
It seems the missing energy types and weapons types are rather arbitrary. If the advanced ground weapons level had all energy types and weapons types (especially the most useful types, the pulsewave and the sniper), why not the elite level as well?
Was this intended? Or is it a bug like the missing antiproton split beam from the STF store a few weeks ago?
