Not sure about the U.S.S. Daxter, but to answer your first post in the Eta Eridani sector block there are 3 hidden unlisted missions which you can do daily for dilithim and in one a ship device called deuterium surplus which is sort of like like a mini evasive manuevers.
All of these missions are available to Fed and KDF players and have a 24 hour cooldown before they can be redone with the exception of the salvage dispute which needs 10 computer fragment cores to redo.

I'm a new player and sorry for resurrecting this thread but a question is why this post isn't stickied somewhere? It's an awsome info.

http://www.stowiki.org/Mission:_Defense_Contract - In this one you get the dueterium surplus and the cardassians at the end can drop computer core fragment(s), 10 of these unlocks http://www.stowiki.org/Mission:_Salvage_Dispute_(Repeatable) which awards dilithium if finished without failing it.
The 3rd mission is http://www.stowiki.org/Sh'mar.

There are no rewards for the mission either, and it only works half the time.
