Failing even that.. can we get a foundry asset that'll change the players ship skin automatically to the mirror one for mirror universe quests.
I think the best option would be an option to purchase the ISS prefix in the same way as the NX registry prefix. When you commission a ship there is a drop down menu that gives you the option of selecting NCC or NX for your ship's registry number. How about if the ISS prefix purchase unlocked a drop down menu in the account wide options screen where you could select USS or ISS. That way if you want to play a Terran Empire character for a while, you can jump in your Mirror Universe ship, switch to your Terran Empire uniform and select the ISS prefix for your account (which would change the prefix for all your ships). Once you want to switch back to your Federation version of your character, simply go back to the Options menu, select USS from the drop down, and your ships all get their original prefix back.

ISS would mean you are from terran faction. Why not to add than IKS, IRV, etc.? This game is not a sandbox=players are restricted from using whole content on their own wish by the game concept. This way, each faction uses it's own register. It is unacceptable to see fed vessel with IKS prefix, same as ISS, because such little things ruining atmosphere of the game, its conception.
NX can be changed, because it is federation register too. Note, it is a change to NCC, not USS.

With all due respect and understanding to those who want the alternate prefix, I actually am going to have to go with Cryptic on this one. While I did hope that the mirror universe cruisers from the Tholian lock boxes would have the I.S.S. prefix, Cryptic's explanation makes sense. They are all Starfleet vessels now. In real life, naval vessels have changed hands and continue to change hands from one navy to another and when they do their prefixes (and often their names) change.

Cryptic has always been about customization? Why not just give us the hull color, ship pre fix, who care what kind of ship its on....is this game not about the players enjoyment? With the lack of content I would think they would be throwing us bone left and right to keep us interested, just attach it the the mirror universe costume set in the z-store. Or does that seem to logical to accomplish?
im with the "for" fans... It would come down to the player(s).. see someone with the mirror hull and i.s.s prefix.. well.. the "real" feds can do the same to them as they do to KDF in sector space/stf etc (which put british-ly.. is "sod" all)
plus cryptic/perfect world it would be a easy money grab for you, which you could use to make more epic stuff... or Borg lockboxes

I was always under the assumption that the intent is to expand on the MU ships in each new Lockbox set. So the next group might offer Mirror Escorts. Then the next Lockbox promotion after that will offer Mirror Science ships. That's just my guess, though.

Classification prefix codes cannot currently be unlocked on a per-ship basis. We have the tech to allow it as a character unlock (see the NX prefix code unlock), but we don't wish to see "true" Federation ships flying around with the ISS prefix.

I'd like less mirror stuff (really none), however I would like to be able to change the prefixes to S.S. or I.S.S. and something that would make sense for KDF Gorn, Orion, and Nausican ships, aside from I.K.S..
