I don't have any STF sets on Kihlass yet. I don't really know a lot about the layout of the map other than the precise location of each of the 4 saboteurs (just wandering around in phase 1). Don't have access to MACO as a KDF officer, and the whole point of the tactic is to go in while the team is busy on another one, optimising performance. And yes, I've actually done the PvP thingy in 1v1 duels with fleetmates before. Of course, the pet-following-cloaked-player bug as well as the targeting bug resulted in complete and utter defeat in my latest attempt.
You have the Honor Guard as equivalent and dont pretend to do every mission without a good set of items, they exist for a reason. Improvement
And you're confused, no exist such thing as pet following cloaked targets and targeting bugs in ground, we're discussing ground here

Yes, yes, yes... I'm working on it, you know!
I know for a fact that various support and seeker drones have pursued me to quite a distance, preventing me from making a sneak attack. Similarly, I've had problems aiming my pulsewave in shooter mode when doing said attacks. So I'd say they DO exist. (and before you ask, it was quite lagless - the projectile simply failed to damage.)
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Well they are Drones, no pets :P
I'll recommend the use of RPG mode, you will never miss.

They're still combat pets. A Horta would do the same thing. :P
Yeah, well, I was NEVER good at RPG mode. SWKOTOR had a nice action queueing thingy, but that's impossible to do here, and my response times would be HORRIBLE if I had to respond to everything by clicking buttons. Even more so since target selection is also manual.

Let me get this straight - you're seriously going to complain about an enemy power that can be countered by a single torpedo, just because YOU choose not to fly with one equipped? Do you even realize how stupidly stubborn that makes you sound?
Acetons are a great challenge that shake up gameplay that can otherwise quickly become monotonous. You can't faceroll your way past a gorn fleet anymore - you have to watch your targeting and keep some of your Fire-At-Will spam in check, then use the tiniest amount of forethought to clear the battlefield. Why is having to pay attention when playing the game a bad thing?
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing them become less numerous in Fleet Defense maps. Especially considering the number of players that get other players killed by spamming beams and cannons at the things. Or maybe they just need to rename them from "Aceton Assimilator" to "Hit Me With Torpedoes or Die" so the newbs can be protected from themselves.

I don't usually use Torpedoes while leveling due to sparse tac stations (as I said, i think the character was L10 or under at the time).
I hadn't realized the pay to win consoles were added to all NPC ships across the entire level spectrum.
Aceton's are poorly balanced as it is, and really have no place on NPCs of that level.
