I don't think that STO has the worst F2P model tbh. STO doesn't restrict you to certain missions and you can get to max level without paying of dime compared to other F2P games that I have played out there,
Probably a bad example, but this was my first MMO overall, Maplestory, you had content locked out unless you paid for it, or LoTR Online. The stuff that you have in the cstore are more "vanity" perks and items IMO.
As far as the Las Vegas panel, it did seem a little bit too short so there wasn't a lot of new info given out.
Though it was mentioned that Andorian stuff is being worked on, and I know someone that is very happy to know that, hehe

You don't have to buy it to play it (although I went to a gamestop the other day and saw numerous STO and Champions Online boxes they were trying to sell for 5-10 bucks each). Watching my kids play some of these games there is not even a dilithium type system in them and paying for content on top of that my kids are probally going to have to become STO players rofl.

Waiting til Season 7 seems like a very long wait, and it coulden't possibly take that long to make the ship model.
And as you said, is the Vesta project done, so we can get into the game ASAP, or is it not completed, and we will have to wait??
