He is correct, though. Had cryptic not messed the bed with the KDF in the beginning, we wouldn't be having these problems. Problems that are made worse every time a developer makes an excuse.

As I've said many times in the past, I never would have launched the game with the KDF Faction in that state. I would have waited until I could have gotten more content for that Faction and brought it in later - as launching as they did only led to hard feeling that have never been abated. But that's no reason to attack an individual. People should feel free to discredit idea, but never attack posters just because you disagree with them.

I believe it's frustration at many Fed players trying to tell those of us that stick to the KDF to sit down and shut up when it comes to wanting the faction to be expanded. That's pretty well what the post he was responding to was telling us, in not so many words. Certainly it could have been said differently, but the feeling is very much justified and I still support his viewpoint.
The KDF is in a catch-22. They won't develop content without more players. There won't be any more players without content.
If by "content" you mean Mission Content, I think just the KDF Mission and the Friday the 13th Mission. If you mean content as an MMO defines it: you would also include new DOFF Mission/Chains, new Lockbox/Lobi system, new Fed Carriers, Foundry Spotlights, in-game events, etc.
Maybe I misunderstand how much effort goes into making the above versus making Fleet Starbase System and the Tholian missions, but it seems to me that the Dev's could dedicate a whole season to the KDF.
But we know that wont happen because the fan base is not there.
Though that did bring another idea to mind. They've said that they are looking to improve PvP over several seasons, couldn't they do the same thing with the KDF?

There was a time when there was no KDF Missions at all. Then there were 8. Now there are 9. The KDF were also given Sorties, etc to have some different things to do. It seems to me they are slowly improving the KDF over several Seasons. It might not be as fast as we would like, but it is slowly getting better.

I no longer care the words of civility escape me when I am slapped and expected to swallow my ire and stand quietly in the face of insult.
To blaim the state of the KDF on the fanbase becuase we did not poor our coffers out at the feet of Cryptic for halfbaked excuses and vieled insults from the Devs themselves supported by a spoiled fanbase.
The Devs are soley responsible for the sorry state of the KDF.
Not I or my fellow KDF fans because we jave done nlthing but continue to spend money yet always, like a cultists priest, its never enougb to biy the salvation we have been seeking for two years.
