People do realize that PvE and PvP are two different systems right? What works in PvE will rarely work for PvP simply because of how the way PvE and PvP is designed. In Any game. Its all about testing and trialling these things.

If people realized that there would be a whole lot less crying and whining in the forums.
Or perhaps, the total posts would reduce significantly.

So, Transphasic Torpedoes still deal 40% direct damage to the hull, not 80% ... that's just the Transphasic Mines, right? If the torps would deal 80% as well, they would be purrfectly balanced because of the very slow recharge rate of 10 seconds and the lowest base damage of all torps.
Apart from on torpedo boats where they would be stupidly overpowered at 80% torpedoes.
The mine revamp was for pvp, mines have no use in PvE since NPCs ignore procs, healing, shield distribution, and moving. Mines have no use in pve. But in pvp mines are extreamly powerful already. a team of 5 spamming 2 mines each is very powerful. On live flying into a minefield of quantums without shields can infact hurt. It doesnt matter what you think, ive had my shields down, and flown into like 30 quantum mines by accedent. I was at 30% HP almost instantly.
sounds like you have a weak fleet with folks that are just QQ'in over anything they can think of. If they leave over something like that then you should throw a party, nothing good will come from some1 that cries over something like that. Everybody knows that those things will get fixed, tell em to chill the hell out its a game.
