i like the look of the Hyper Compressed Cryo Launcher, EXCEPT FOR ONE THING

when the gun is out, the offhand (left for all you non-chronic video game players) is seen hanging limp and also clipping through my character a bit to hang stiffly straight down

Yep, I believe this has been reported before. I also have the suit so I know what you're talking about. Your avatar's left arm appears twisted and when you fire the blast comes from below your feet.
