Nothing from Forum Moderators in Personal Mails from In-game nor in the new Forum Mail (which they claim you are to do with forum matters).
In their defense, the two forum moderators we have here are both players who have no access to the backend. Not sure why you're contacted them on this issue. They have to operate under a rather strict policy with their communication towards players as well which is why they probably didn't respond with a "We can't help you." PM. Also granted one of them can't actually understand how to send a Pm correctly.....
Yeah, Moderators are here to uphold the Rules and are volunteers, not PWE Staff. They cannot officially answer such game/technical questions, even if they might know the answer, instead they function as part of the Community and may only direct players in the right direction.
Some games do actually employ Moderators or have their existent staff work Moderation, usually however that it outsourced to player volunteers. As well, PWE Staff and Moderators do not even get PM's that are sent to them or the functionality is disabled all together or they are not allowed to respond. This is in order to keep them from getting spam and hate messages.
If you wish to speak to someone on the community team, file a community support ticket here, as we are not able to respond to PMs regarding moderation inquiries.

Not sure about #1 but #2 sounds like you need to now transfer your Zen to Star Trek Online.
