Romulans Shooting at Each Other

I just saw something amusing while replaying the mission "Under the Cover of Night." In the last act, you have to fight three birds-of-prey and then a Mogai. Only this time, the BoPs were shooting heavy plasma torpedoes at each other instead of at me, and the Mogai was snared by its own cloaking tractor mines.

They didn't have any problem hitting me with energy weapons, so obviously it's the projectiles that have turned against them.

I'm going to play some more Romulan episodes to see if this problem is limited to one mission, or more widespread.

Edit: Here's a relevant excerpt from the combat log:

[Combat (Other)] Bird-of-Prey's Torpedo Explosion dealt 2606 (12122) shield damage to Bird-of-Prey.

I did the following mission- "Minefield"- and this bug did not occur in it.

I then repeated "Under Cover of Night," and was able to reproduce the Romulans shooting HY plasma torps at each other. It may be limited to just this one mission.

Edit: in the "Ghost Ship" mission, I just watched a Mogai shoot itself with a HY plasma torp. The torpedo spawned right next to the ship... then struck it and exploded.
