zen through steam

can you still buy c-points (now Zen) through the steam network if so can you tell me how please

    Just open the ZEN store, click 'purchase ZEN' and it should bring up a small window that allows you to choose how much ZEN you want. Just make sure your Steam wallet has enough funds.

    would appear to not be working anymore...... now this is starting to take the TRIBBLE, i have funds in my wallet for STO but if you click "buy zen" all it does is redirect you to the purchase screen in perfect worlds.

    If they were going to remove the ability to purchase zen through steam they should have announced this and give steam players notice, im now stuck with money in steam and nothing to spend it on..... thanks a lot perfect worlds, yet another nail in the coffin.

    Make sure you launch the game through Steam. I was able to make a purchase in game using my Steam wallet last night.

    I'm having this issue now. I was able to buy Zen through Steam last week, but now I'm not able to. It just takes me to website.

    I'd post this as a new thread, but for some reason, even though I've owned STO since it was released, the site says my account isn't old enough to post a new thread...

    Is buying through steam working for anyone else?

    I've bought Zen dozens of times using Steam Wallet, and now I got hit by this as well (not sure "when" though, as I didn't play much this month).

    I've tried everything I can really think of. I even went as far as to reinstall the game again using Steam, launch it using Steam, make sure the overlay is working again, etc.

    In my case, the game seemed to "blink", just for a split second, then it loaded the PWE site in my external browser. Maybe it was trying to load the overlay and failed, I'm not sure.

    It may in fact not be PWE's fault, maybe something changed in the Steam API that broke STO - who knows? All I know is, I know how rankinhope feels. I grabbed a small Steam wallet code today just so I could have some Zen. If I had known, I woulda looked around for a PWE card. -sigh-

    --Bumping this thread with something I found--

    To the guys with this problem - did you recently top up your Steam Wallets with a "new" payment method?

    I used my CC to add some wallet funds on the weekend - before I used the card today for more. I randomly decided to check the Community: Market link, and the Buy buttons for stuff like the 6 cent emoticons/etc were all greyed out.

    I moused over them and it told me my steam wallet would be locked till the end of the week while they made sure my funds from the last transaction cleared.

    So, I guess my suggestion is: check to see if your wallets are disabled for some reason by seeing if the Community Market's "Buy Now" buttons are enabled or disabled. Mousing over a disabled one will tell you how long it's disabled for, assuming it's not forever/something really went wrong with your wallets.

    Same problem. But I haven't used a new card and can still buy things via the community market. Annoying as I just dumped into Steam to purely for STO :(

    Thanks for the info. I'll check the Steam Market and see. I've used the CC for a long time though with no issues. My card seems to work fine other places so I don't think it's an issue with the card.

    I'll check the market though and see if it says anything about my steam wallet being locked.

    I've always been able to purchase Zen through my Steam wallet, in fact, it's the only way I buy it. However, today I found myself redirected to the PW website every time I hit the button in the C-Store. I haven't changed anything recently on Steam, and the only difference has been the latest STO patches. Is this a known issue?

    i noticed today also i could not buy zen anymore through steam.

    I WILL NEVER buy zen from perfect world homepage couse its payment options never work.
    so if you cannot buy zen from steam anymore means never buy anything from Cryptic ever ever again.

    i tried buying from perfect world homepage 3 times and all the time they took money like some small fee like 3 usd but never got anything just "cannot proceed" and nothing happens.
    Their payment options is tottaly TRIBBLE.
    if they added same payment options as steam has then maybe i will rethink but i doubt it.

    so untill zen through steam works again this game is dead.
    If only they fix Cloaking bugg :( *new message BOOM decloacked.
