Really? Everyone is surprised that a massive feature update has meant that lots of people want to log in to the game mere hours after it went live? What could this mean? What is this treachery?
Take a breath people. Life's too short. By the end of the weekend, everything will be back to normal. Just like it has been after every major content addition/patch/change of subscription model/end of beta.
Hope they get this resolved cause if I cant get in the game by 6pm (20 minutes from now), I will exit the game and go do something else cause I do not find it relaxing to stare at a computer screen waiting to play a game when I want to play it and not when the great mighty servers says I can.
I thought that Gold members received priority login...I've been waiting entirely too long.
Golds do get priority login. But when the game is full Cryptic isn't going to kick players already in game just to make room. So we get to wait, at the front of the line. Those other however many before you? They're were Golds who logged in before you, and you had to wait your turn behind them, but in front of the Silvers.
Earlier I was 1,059 out of 6,029 earlier. Considering I was in in under 10 minutes and the last time I got stuck in the queue was just after Season 5 launched, I don't find it worth complaining about.
I'm disappointed, I was in the queue at 3447 then it went down to 148, then something in red writing appeared saying sever something and a timer, just logged in again and now back in the queue at 2842!, I'm going to bed now. Good luck all if you get in. -_-

1889 out of 3239, and if I get disconnected instead of loading the thing up again I will take a leave of absence again, I left the game for 2 months I dont mind leaving again till they can get their ducks in a row.
I've kept my monthly sub so I can support the game. This is simply too much. I just tried to change my account to FTP but I don't even see that as an option. Does anyone know how I can change my account?
Same way you cancel anything you've signed up for in life that involves a reoccuring fee. Stop paying.

What always amuses me when it comes to Cryptic's server woes (and there are many, some that'd make the pubbies' skin crawl if they knew about them) is that they only run one in-house database and yet the game is more heavily instanced than a state prison. I don't even know how you manage to mess up that badly (sorry Cryptic, I do have a soft spot for you guys but coding and server architecture is not one of your strong points to put it mildly).

Its not, I know two guys ones a computer IT that builds custom computers the other is a computer IT that works for major businesses on their servers. They both said that the servers that are being used here are something no sane tech would ever devise or use with a data heavy system.
My issue is with the lag to get anything into your inventory, i have had to beam out of a place nad beam back in just to complete a transaction, it is a pain, perhaps some more testing was required, i also do have access to the tribble stuff from the week end
nope. This will likely only last a day or two and i hate the old style of multiple realms. it always ends up a hideous mess when they inevitably merge them.
I agree, although tbh its sad that S6 went life. And yet i see no difference for me. The icons on the doff system improved though.... and a couple of endgame missions .... Sooo ... when is Season 7 due?
this is plain bs i accepted dis at game start right after beta and for season 2 but now we in season 6 this shouold be a thing of past does wow do this every time they have new stuff released?
