it depends what when u last logged in to tribble... the patch they're applying now has 517 mb.

do you have on demand patching on or something as i logged on a few hours ago and i just downloaded 1227mb.

on demand patching will download the minimum you need and add the rest via loading screens as and when you need it.

I disabled ondemand patching btw, i hate it when using the game waiting for stuff i want it all or nothing. Probably why my patch is larger that i am getting.

    Almost done at 1221mb - 99%

    Edit - yep finished now.

    Systems:

Updated Security Escort, Security Crewmen and Shard Of Possibilities Shadows so they now properly land critical hits.
Security Escort HP properly increases with player's Squad Command skill.
Normalized HP, Damage and Shields for Fed and Klingon Security Escorts.
    They were not consistent.
Increased the time it takes for Security Escort to beam out if you are not in combat.

nice tactical have there powers back

... the lockbox ships do NOT need a buff, they are already the best ships

Tried to log on but as guessed still in maint mode.

    Edit - @dontdrunkimshoot

Before s6 possibly, with s6 tho the lockbox ships would be alot weaker than the best fleet ships, so yeah they needed a buff to keep up with the best ships they are lockbox ships afterall they are premium so deserve premium stats kinda dont u think.

Except they would be overshadowed once the fleet versions come out... as those all have more HP, shields and an extra console slot.

And they aren't even supposed to be the best ships.
They are supposed to be vanity ships, collectors items.

I pretty much feel like I wasted my C-Points on getting the Armitage, if i'm going to have to earn a fleet version that is better anyway. =/

You wouldnt have the torp console with the fleet version alex tho. But if you dont care about that then yep the cstore version isnt worth it when fleet version would be better just without a torp console.

Still no improvement of the starbase economy system based on this thread? You're goind to have a lot of ramble on the forums if you don't find another fix to that flaw before S6 is released. :(
It's already been answered though... something about Fleet politics having to dictate things.

So no significant changes to the way it is now, unless i'm mistaken.

Depends, do you want any of the powers that come with the C-Store ships?

Of course you will spend money. Fleet ship with one skin . No consoles cool stuff like on armitage - Point defence . And Some fleets ships are for C-points too. For Less Cpoints, But for Cpoints :)

The Fleet Akira would be unable to use any of the Armitage's hull parts if you hadn't purchased it. You also would not have the Torpedo Spam Console to put into it. Think of the Fleet version of the ship as being a new better framework that you put all the major parts from your current ship into... and not an entirely new ship.

Hang on a second. These "fleet" ships, what makes them "fleet" ones? Do they belong to us, or do we buy them for the fleet, which then loans them to its members?

You get them from the fleet store, which has more as it advances in shipyard level, in exchange for fleet cred and dilithium. They're completely yours.

Build in shipyard - then you need to run provision mission . Which will build them . And then they are moved to Fleet store - Where you buy them for fleet money ( some ) and Some for C-points. .

    You own them once purchased.

Transwarping to the base and then leaving the system takes you back to where you activated transwarp. Not sure if intentional or bug, but do not like.

Ok, more detailed - you build starbase - get fleet money for donating some stuff. Then you build shypiard - another fleet money . Ship need to build - thats what provision mission is for :) Ship are build and moved to fleet store - where people who have ENOUGH fleet money can buy them :) when store is empty you need to run another provision mission to build a new ships :)
