What's the point in asking us to investigate the Ganalda system?

It's a Klingon supply base just the same as Space Station K-7, which not even a Federation player with diplomatic immunity is allowed to access..

So why does it offer Fed players to investigate it when the game is just going to deny you anyway?

Nobody wants to even venture a guess?

I don't remember the system / mission in question, but maybe it's to teach us that we cant go everywhere?
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Gandala system. Not attached to a Federation mission in any way, it's a planet/station just inside Eta Eriandi by the Omega Leonis border (neutral zone) that acts as the Klingon variant of K-7.

Unlike all the sites in Klingon space that's "fed restricted" (first city, KA, etc.), the system popup shows for Gandala with the button to "investigate Gandala system". However, when attempting to do so, you get a BOff window advising you that "we don't have clearance to enter the system"... Tier 3/4 Diplomacy, granted diplomatic immunity, and possibly even raiding party does not allow entry.

i don't know much, joined as a F2P. For all I know, there used to be something there (Battleground?) or plans for something to be there (sector hold battles?) that haven't been implemented...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

Probably just a bug in the coding.

Feds can't get in for the same reason KDF can't go into K7.

except for that day when the Klingons cloaked K7 so well no one could find it shortly after launch....

They probably had plans for it.. but got cancelled. And they probably don't care if it's missguiding.
I say take it away or do something with it. Can't be that hard to remove..... or is it?

It's a KDF space station, it is restricted from Fed access, just like all the other KDF stations and planets. Drazana station is the neutral meeting point that was established in that sector block.

I'd argue with the addition on Fleet starbases that they really should maybe of thought of another location to put them, Eta Erdiana now has '5' starbases in that sector block out of a total of '10' in the entire galaxy map.

back in the day, during launch, the feds had missions that sent them to explore multiple systems in a sector of space, not sure if they still have those missions since I have 1 fed at 50 and the rest of my captains are KDF. but Ganalda may have been one of those systems back in the day, also back in the day, I dont recall the KDF having a base in Ganalda, since we were a PVP faction, we had no use for such things, just our ship yard and our ships.

If memory serves Ganalda has always been there as the KDF station compared to the Fed's K-7. It didnt serve much purpose back in the day but was always there

I understand its a build up of the neutral zone but was kinda hopeing to be able to decide where the station was and just have a mini map command to get there

Yes it has always been there but it used to serve the purpose for KDF to spend there marks
of honor from PvP because thats where you got your MK X rare PvP equipment (which I
still use) but they changed the stats on that equpment since then.

For example the new MK X antiproton dual heavy cannons have 2% crit chance 50% crit
severity and 10% acc where as my old MK X AP dual heavies have 2% crit chance and
70% crit severity which I still use often.

Even on my KDF there's not much reason to use Ganalda what with no transwarp to it, even worse is it's so out of the way. I tend to just use a mission that has me going to Drozana and just pay the 500ec to warp there.

    For Klingons

Gandala used to sell the PVP rewards, so there was a reason to go there. Now since all rewards come from the Dilitihium store there's no point to go there.
I was once DKnight1000, apparently I had taken my own name so now I'm DKnight0001.

My KDF character has never even seen this place. THis is seriously the first time I'm hearing about it.

I did think it was odd that there's an "Investigate K7" for KDF officers only of them to be warned away as "The federation has a strong presence in that system."
