    What time zone is UTC?

    I know GMT UK, PST, EST US and a host of others, but never heard of UTC.

    The message said 14:00-16:00 UTC and it is 16:34 now in GMT, so am all confused :confused:

    they said it lasts 2 hours so it will be online in 16 minutes again. dont know whats your guys problem?

    so for you over there in florida, they started at 1000 and it will be done at 1200.

    Why do they allow comments on this thread every week? It's always the same chain:

    1. Why do they do this during prime EU playing time.

    2. It's 11:45 why is the server not up even though they said it would be up at 12:00

    3. Where are the patch notes

    4. Why was (insert item) not fixed in this patch?

    as always, you're lucky. Over here the Servers are down from 4 pm - 6 pm. That sucks, as always, I feel like I'm being punished for something.

    It happens more or less like clockwork, same time, same day - every week as far as I can tell since I joined.
    Also it was posted on the forum two days ago :P

    Captains,

    Thanks for your patience. As mentioned in the OP, we expected this maintenance to only last for two hours -- I also included a link to a webpage that will allow you to see the maintenance times in your timezone.

    Just a quick update, though: we've extended the maintenance by about 30 minutes, so we are hoping to have the shard back in in 38 minutes from now, give or take.

    It will now be an additional 30 minutes, so 11:30 Central USA

    on the plus side, tribble is at least up now

    ...nevermind, very brief window where I was able to connect to tribble server, down again.

    I don't mind the patches as they happen on a regular basis, but you were always able to tool around on tribble/redshirt while the holodeck was down...hopefully this doesn't now become the norm where we can't do that anymore either.
