Shard Sword of Kahless

I read recently the quad cannons are getting a scaling boost to keep up with mk 12s.

Can the same be done for the shard sword? Currently, it has a lower dps than the mk xi offered in Gates of Grethor to VAs. They both have crit h and crit d, the shard sword has an extra dmg but lower dps.

It looks nice but is no longer competitive.

    I agree. It should have better dps.
    but hopefully, if it gets some buff then it won't be available to feds.
    Grinding for MkIV epic gear?

    Well it's been kept from us thus far... I see no reason it should not continue that way.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Well... There goes a little more support for the klingons.

    I don't understand the post about the feds: the mission is kdf only and the blade is bound on equip. So: :confused:

    I would like to have more use for the blade, it's just waiting in my inventory because its not good enough for killing Borg in endgame. I would like to see 3 weapon slots for the character and 2 for the boffs, where one is reserved for mellee weapons only. Currently in stf just the combination of a long-range and a close range weapon is really effective, like the honor-guard pulsewave and a sniperrifle with different energy-type.

    The shard already scales, I think the description text is incorrect- notice it says 'basic attack', IIRC 32 dmg seems the same for all ranks of this bat'leth, probably because the description text is of the MkIV when you acquire it.

    ...But the Shard of Kahless cuts thru borg like butter @ char lvl XI, 3 strikes and they're out.

    I agree it scales, I'm just not sure it scales as high as it should.

    You can craft a bat'Leth at the foundry, I've a MkVIII [CritD][CritH] in inventory I'll sell ya if you don't want to build the MkX or XI (for testing).
