I read that three times and I don't understand what you mean. Can you explain? It's about my bedtime! What is a cash shop item?
a cash shop item is a thing you buy from the game store like cryptic store. in some of PWE's games you can buy a cash shop item and sell it in the auction house for in game currency. PWE is one of the few companies that do this.
Yes, I live on my ship. But there's nothing to do there. Give me a secondary place of residence on Vulcan or earth. Something I can improve, landscape, decorate through game items I have earned elsewhere.
It wouldn't happen that way though. They'd say they want to do this and that and get all our hopes up, but all we'd get out of ground based housing is exactly what we get out of ship interiors. a meager choice with as minimal customization as they can get away with.
I'd be amazingly pissed off if Cryptic added all that to some ground based player housing thing and still didn't touch the ship interiors which have been almost completely neglected since they were introduced.

Pretty much this... though im all for player housing on a planet or starbase.
PWE needs to stop killing Star Trek's image. STO is a laughing stock already...I miss the time around when STO was launched, aside from bugs, everyone loved the game, it looked like Star Trek for the most part and all the real Trek fans played...now....ewww....

What game was this? I was here for the betas and launch and there were numinous complaints, aside from the bugs, about the game. The lack of content on both sides and how boring the missions were until you hit captain being top amongst them. Any time you went to the old ESD thats what people were usually chatting about. If you could some how manage to fit a sentence in between the constant "WHERE IS QUINN?!" questions people kept asking.
