That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

i would be a bigger fan of it if the werewolf in question wasn't just a human with yak hair glued to his face and plastic fangs attached to his canines...but what do you expect for cinema in its infancy?

and i think that poem is actually older than the wolfman...not sure, though - maybe not

but the first time i ever heard it was in hugh jackman's van helsing, where it was slightly different - it went "Even a man who is pure of heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolf bane blooms and the moon is shining bright" in that film

Still, in 1941 it was pretty good makeup. Having a Vav Helsing type wolf, back then, would have been incredible. As would have an 'ape suit' to play the Bigfoot in the Gimlin/Patterson video in 1967

van helsing definitely had one of the better werewolf body models, but i wasn't a big fan of the head...there's something just really off about it - maybe the muzzle

someone described it best when he referred to that abomination as a shaved, half-drowned rat...with incredibly overlengthened limbs...and no tail

Much better than a werewolf description.

I wonder if JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof came up with Lupin, like they did the Caitians abominations from Into Darkness?
