Terry: You sure you don't want to stay put... ? But I have a feeling you are going to go and tidy something up right now in the Pegasus.. That is fine.
Dani: I'll be back soon. You know Q will drop us off where and when we left. I need to be on the Zhiyal when that happens.
That doesn't mean I'll stay there.
*She kisses him before stepping onto the pad.*
But, if I do come back, don't be surprised if it's the R.S.S. Enterprise's mission patch on my sleeve.
Hawk: I'll give you my decision by this evening, if you still want help on the frontline?
Fox: Of course it is.. Your final authorization will lie with the Captain of course but I see no reason to decline it... in his case. We are short handed.
Fox: Of course it is.. Your final authorization will lie with the Captain of course but I see no reason to decline it... in his case. We are short handed.
Hawk: We're not members of the Zhiyal's crew. We're more like guests.
Wade I want you to patch in Voporak I think its time we cleared some air and get an understanding.
Wade: *Over the comm* Alright sir. Coming up..
Sure Dani will be back?
Terry: Of course she will be Wade. I am sure Rissa is not happy about it.
Wade: Of course not. Though she might have to accept it.
Terry: She will in time... She is a close friend and that is where it will stay..
Wade: Yes Sir. Right now we are running tip top S'darg has all the weapons stored away.. The Preserver has tactical running optimally and Chief is neatly sitting at the Helm..
Terry: Good. Remind me to get him in line to be an Officer later Wade... Need the Bridge crew in line with other ships.
A run down vase of operations on earth. What started as just the ghosts tying to fight has grown into a much larger rebellion. Still though they are outnumbered and out gunned.
Near the holo table displaying the situation.
General thel: we need to be able to get air support to push them back anywhere.
Mao: well sir we both know that the defense line is no where close and not getting closer any time soon
Thel: we will find a way to make it work. We haven't lived this long to give up now.
" Now the gate has been unlatched headstones pushed aside; corpses shift and offer room ,a fate you must abide."
Thel watches as the troops here walk around some target practice others clean weapons while others seem distressed.
Magnus: not what we expected is it.
Thel: Ah Colonel Magnus i see you made it back from Denver.
Magnus: yes we did manage to raid some supplies but.... We need to speak in private.
The two walk into thels quarters/ready room
Thel: whats wrong?
Magnus: everything we lost contact withs ghosts 1 and 4 today. We arent getting any support and no supplies and no back up the men need something sir!
Thel: well ive got good news then.
Magnus: what?
Thel: we recieved a report from a UNSC prowler on the edge of the Sol system. They are going to do a quick supply drop and drop us some new men for a few more boots on the ground.
Magnus: how many and what kind of supplies?
Thel: from what there commander said they have 200 ODST units. Other wise known as Hell Jumpers. As well as food water and medical supplies and a few weapons.
Magnus: Well at least we got some good news finally
Thel: dont lose hope if one prowler made it through that means our own ships should not be far behind.
Magnus: i hope your right
" Now the gate has been unlatched headstones pushed aside; corpses shift and offer room ,a fate you must abide."
*Earth 9 months since occupation... The resistance has been hiding out trying to get information as the Elibisi are moving in and now has the planet under its control and have begun to strip it of life as technology. Admiral Dorman and the resistance have been hopping from base to base in the sticks of Earth. The Ghosts are only a dozen now... as Dorman has them either out on patrol or Recon keeping an eye on major areas. Their shipments of supplies are sporadic at best. *
*Dorman and company are holded up in the middle of North America the troops are ragged... combat has been almost constant but luckily the middle of nowhere is less populated. *
Dorman: Major report... * he kneels down in a abandoned home the rest of them keeping in line trying to keep comms down as well as energy signatures. *
Magnus: not yet. Still working on getting a good comm network up and running.
Thel: well he's a smart man he knows what to do.
Magnus: sir we got a micro burst saying the odst are arriving.
Thel: good.
Soon a platoon of odst special forces arrive with supplies Jacob beams down a few moments later flanked by UNIT troops.
Jacob: General glad to see your still alive.
Thel: like wise to you. What will happen to your prowler.
Jacob: they shielded our transport but they are going to lay a few mines before they get scene. They won't make it out of sol system.
Thel: thank you
Jacob: so what's the status.
Thel: not good we haven't been able to contact admiral dorman and to go on any offensive we need air support.
Jacob: the defense line isn't making any progress. But maybe if I get a message to Strauss he will start an offensive to retake earth.
Thel: we can only hope.
*Dorman cracks through on the QEC barely... *
Dorman: This is Admiral Dorman.. The enemy is wising up to your movements... I recommend you disperse and fall back... Their network in space is causing interference...
Dorman: This is Admiral Dorman.. The enemy is wising up to your movements... I recommend you disperse and fall back... Their network in space is causing interference...
Thel: figures. Don't worry though we already planned on moving in the morning since Jacob and his men got here. Thank you admiral.
" Now the gate has been unlatched headstones pushed aside; corpses shift and offer room ,a fate you must abide."
Thel: no was just speaking to admiral dorman the only other " officer " I've been able to reach and the only other real resistance out there. We leave camp in the morning director.
Jacob: very good tell your men to rest the odst will take watch and we will help move everything.
" Now the gate has been unlatched headstones pushed aside; corpses shift and offer room ,a fate you must abide."
*He walks over to the Ready Room as the doors open, before sitting back down in the Ops position.*
Bridge to Engineering, run a level 1 diagnostic on the internal sensors.
Sorry, sir.
Ronin's here to see you.
*Ronin is standing by the turbolift, helmet back in place.*
Terry: I can see that.. His approval has been authorized along with that of his companion. You may take the quarters down on deck 50.. by the shuttle bay. I look forward to seeing you in action. I have an open door policy Ronin remember that if you need anything.

*R.S.S. Dunkirk, Omaha-Class SCV. Sol System. The Dunkirk is part of Republic CentComm's Operation: Lifeline; a joint operation between the RNF, RNFMC and RAO (Republic Naval Forces, Republic Naval Forces Marine Corps and Republic Assault Operations respectively) to drop reinforcements and supplies for the Resistance on Earth. RNF provide the ships, RNFMC provide a platoon of infantry and infantry fighting vehicles and RAO provide a team of elite fighters.
The Dunkirk comes in under cloak, landing in River City's Central Park. The Marines and Assault Ops quickly move out with the supplies and equipment.
Meanwhile, Bridge. Commander Charles Prescott walks back into the CIC as it bustles with activity. A tech looks up to him.*
Tech: Sir, lifeline is offloaded.
Prescott: Good. Let's get out of here before what happened to the El Alamein happens to us.
Helm, take off.
*The Dunkirk takes off again under cloak.*
Helm *Over Comm*: We're airborne.
Prescott: Secure all stations for atmospheric exfiltration.
*Meanwhile, Deck 9. A security guard walks into the Cloak Room where he finds a woman messing with the Cloaking Device. He quickly pulls out his sidearm.*
Guard: Hey!
*Before he can fire, the infiltrator hits him with an elbow strike to the face, shattering his nose, causing it to start bleeding profusely as he's knocked out. Before he can fall to the floor, the saboteur grabs his arm and pulls the trigger on the phaser, blasting the base of the cloak.
In CIC, the lights flicker slightly before brightening up.*
Prescott: What the hell?!
Tech: Weapons fire in the cloak room!
Tech 2: We're visible!
Prescott: Get the Stealth systems to compensate!
Tech 2: It won't be enough in-atmosphere!
*The ship starts rocking from weapons fire.*
Tech: It's the city's anti-assault batteries!
Prescott: I thought the Eblisi didn't take control of the anti-assault batteries?!
Tech: They don't!
*Sparks fly as the ship's shields go down.*
Helm *Over Comm*: We've taken a hit to our starboard impulse engine! We're losing altitude!
Prescott: Put us down in the river!
All hands, BRACE!
*Everyone gets into their seats or down on the deck in brace positions.
The ship races down towards the river, smoke pluming out of the starboard engine. The ship's reverse thrusters burn fiercely in an attempt to kill forward velocity as the ventral RCS ports fire to try and flare. Quickly, the Dunkirk slams into the water at speed, somersaulting twice as parts of the hull sheer off, some getting ejected into buildings on the embankment. The remains of the Dunkirk come to a stop, floating in the middle of the river, slowly sinking.
The Marines and Assault Ops race to the embankment, having seen the Dunkirk crash, and are shocked at the horror they see as the survivors clamber onto the top of the hull or try desperately to stay afloat in the water.*
Marine: My god...
*Several of the Marine teams and the Assault Ops Squad race to try and help the survivors, many bleeding badly from the impact. The major in charge of the Assault Ops squad taps her earpiece.*
Major: Someone find a hovercraft, or a hopper! We need to get the survivors off the wreck!
This is Major Carol Chambers, Republic Assault Operations! If any allied forces are receiving this transmission, please respond!

Fox wants me to go on the frontline with him.
Kira: Then go.
Hawk: And where would you go?
Kira: I can always stay on the Zhiyal.
Hawk: Kira, aside from Tara, you don't know anyone on the Zhiyal. Besides, if you lose your temper...
You could always come with me.
Kira: Do you mean that?

Thel: we should hurry we are open out here.
Jacob: the cave is over the next rise.
Dorman: Trust me Williams you don't want to do that. Those things have probably rotted out. Plus we don't have the supplies to handle food poisoning.
Williams: Damn... I could eat a horse..
Dorman: We will back be with the others soon.
Williams: I hope it is not MRE's
Dorman: Most likely is.
Williams: TRIBBLE..
*Dorman stops them off as the next group comes up to them and they huddle down..*
Major: Sir..
Dorman: Major.. What did you find?
Major: Nothing.. The enemy that was shadowing us has moved away from us and has gone on else where..
Dorman: How far are we from that last transmission?
Major: At least a day out if they have not moved..
Dorman: That is likely if they are ignoring us. I kept telling them that taking Earth back is not going to be possible unless everyone else comes in.
Major: Is it ever going to come?
Dorman: We have to have faith.
