Matt: I only meant what's your take on the situation we're in?

Besides, it's hard to build a small multi-generational explorer ship. I like it, personally. I may have to recommend that CentComm buy the schematics from Starfleet when we get back.

If we get back, that is.

Drake: Excuse me? Not an Officer. Can I get a catch-up?

Terry: Well we need Voporak back in our time line. From what I know and seen it is necessary that we retrieve him. But Q interfered with that idea... to some degree. So there is no way of telling if he is even here.

Whatever we are here for it is Q wanting to prove a point.

Sam: Either that, or he's bored again. Either works.

    Drake: Ahem... Voporak? Who's 'Voporak'?

Matt: He's a Starfleet Admiral from this time period. He spent a lot of time in our century 20 years ago. He was a very good ally.

Sam: Despite Starfleet making things difficult for him.

Drake: So, what's the problem? Let's find him and get back to our own time?

    Sam: The problem is 2412.

    Drake: Oh.

Tara: What? What happened in 2412?

Matt: The Raiser Crisis. After the Northman Incident, there was a massive wave of anti-New-Type hysteria, leading to the formation of a Galactic Police Force, like S.H.I.E.L.D.

Sam: Except the Raisers were commissioned to research and control New-Types under Starfleet Admiral Reinhart. A few powers refused to sign the treaty, like Deep Space 61, but the Raisers were allowed to skip due process.

Drake: Ladies and gentlemen, I have at least 42 New-Types aboard the Zhiyal.

Thompson: A solid half of my crew are New-Types as well - and I don't like the prospect of explaining away the presence of Dalosians, Betans, Talaxians and Turanians on my crew.

Terry: And about 75 percent on this ship are Newtypes or are of species that they have not yet encountered. Much less a Preserver. To make matters worse the treatment of those arrested and Section 31 is still active in this timeline. They were ones who long ignored Ethics to experiment on Newtypes too. Creating unstable artificial Newtypes.

*Meanwhile, S.S. Republic. Ryan is sitting in his Ready Room going over the press-released document on the Raiser Initiative as he travels to Qonos', on a mission to help General Ja'rod stop his house from using genetic experimentation and a modified Bird of Prey to overthrow Chancellor Drex and crush the House of Martok.

Suddenly, his eyes glint blue as he hears someone appear behind him. He turns to see Tara A standing behind him.*

    Ryan: Allington to security!

Tara A: Don't bother. They can't hear you. Or, at least, your message is being delayed by about 5 minutes.

    Ryan: Who are you?

Tara A: My name is Tara Allen - and I'm here to warn you. Raiser knows you're going to Qonos. They're waiting for you there. They'll abduct you and General Ja'rod, frame Admiral Rommel for the destruction of the Republic and Victorious and frame you for conspiring with Admiral Rommel and harbouring enemies of the quadrant. They will then ignore DS61's sovereignty and invade the station before trying to execute the crew and new-type population.

    Ryan: Admiral Rommel is dead.

Tara A: No he isn't. He's been underground.

Ryan: Why should I believe you?

Tara A: Because the alternative is 924 people dying in orbit of the Klingon Homeworld.

*Ryan thinks heavily about this, before walking out.*

Ryan: John, turn us and the Victorious around.

    John: Ryan? We promised to--

Ryan: Just do it. We're walking into an ambush! Contact Admiral Ross!

*He walks back into the Ready Room, finding that Tara A is gone.*

    Who was that girl?

OOC: I need to differentiate here, or else this is going to get sooooo confusing.
    -Prime Voporak will be Voporak
    -Alternate Voporak will be Voporak-A
-And in case he ever should happen to get dragged in again, Mirror Voporak is Voporak-M

Same naming goes for the Black Phantom.

    *Black Phantom, bridge.*

Voporak: Oh, the glory of the hunt. A couple giant, advanced ships trying to hunt me down, *chuckles* they're going to find it's very hard to slip that by 150 years or so in the past. They aren't as experienced at it as I am.

*Black Phantom-A, bridge. The ship's sytems are back online.*

Voporak: Red alert. Prepare to engage pursuit.

*The ship is readied for combat, in case it comes to that.*

Engineering, what's the status of the temporal core?

Jirod: Functioning normally. We'll be able to time-lapse the slipstream drive.

Voporak: Do that. We're going go after those ships. Bridge out. Helm, find their trail and follow it.

*The Black Phantom-A cloaks and speeds off*
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

CPO *Over Comm*: Engineering's working on it, but it's going to be at least 2 hours.

Matt: Terry, are you sure splitting up is such a good idea?

Drake: The Zhiyal can't cloak, and she won't be designed for another 70 years.

Matt: Exactly, and wherever Voporak is, chances are he's still cloaked just like we're gonna be... and he has a lot more experience at this than any of us.

Sam: But I know him. That's about the only advantage we have.

Dani: This seems like a lot of trouble Q went to just over Voporak. I mean, dragging the R.S.S. Enterprise and the Zhiyal back here as well? There's something else going on here.

Tara: Like what? It's not like someone here is a secret psychotic assassin turned Shadow lapdog.
