Not really a season 6 thing, but can you add a dilithium reward or something to the vault shuttle event.

if you are not interested in data logs or have all the data logs you need, it becomes a little pointless. a better reward would keep attracting people.

Even so, there are many people who wont go for the XII set and will give up at XI. I have no desire for the XII set so im stopped playing it. give people another goal to aim for.

    Mixed team, and in space

    are you sure?

It does say Starfleet on the description on the queue.

the colony invasion which i think is unmixed has no extra wording, so i think that should say starfleet instead.

This seems like a good way to grief or misrepresent. At least with player names you can check the @ handle. I might just have to make myself my own "The Spanish Inquisition" fleet.

Is there a way to tie it to a toon? Like you can only make the fleet name the same if you have other toons in the same fleet?

ughh i think fleet events refers to the Fleet Event Calendar. So MT can have a "Escorts pwn all" event on monday, and crimoso can have one on tuesday.

Not sure what you are talking about

As you can imagine (apparently not) I missed the word "event"

Isn't it about time we have cross faction fleets? Perhaps at least for those with diplomatic immunity

[*]Any large ships that make it into the Vault event will be booted out.

Perhaps another option would be to allow tier 1 starships in the event. That would give them some love, and as your fighting them all the time in the vault anyway.

Another idea would be to add the scorpion and the cat fighter so people can have cannon carriers without buying a Peregrine. Then change the C-store Peregrine by adding a second BO slot and make it a +1. The Scorpion could then have a cloak with one BO power, and the cat fighter would be the same, but with the cloak detection thing instead of cloaking. Lastly, the scorpion could be purchased for dilithium from obisek, or perhaps Drozana, while the cat fighter could be purchased from the starbase ship area or in the dilithium store .

Oh while we're on it, if you gonna insist we use shuttles, and you add the ability to craft S-Class weapons so we can have a bit more variation to them?

Fleets can now transfer leadership from their Leader if their Leader has not logged in within 30 days.

This is done through a "Claim Leadership" button that will appear on the bottom of the Fleet Roster for the highest ranking members of the Fleet that have been active within 30 days.

How does this work if more than one person has Leader rank?

When will Stealth on the ground be fixed? The ability to stack stealth so high it cannot be detected even 1 m away w/ tricorder scan or target optics is insane. Stealth should max at at 600 and not be a perfect cloak.

Are you planning to fix the "couldn't transfer character issue" ?

I am afraid to get my klingon to Qo'nos because it becomes my jail.

LOL Because getting to lvl cap at the Cardassian series missions has no effect on the fact we need more missions?

Hmmm perhaps I shall play tribble tonight.

However I will note the tally for SDC...

-1 for removal of CE Fleet action
    +2 for 5-man missions

    Net gain +1

Now if one of those 5-mans goes to the "event calendar" it will be another -1 as it will be unavailable to most players as well as receive little playtime.

Thus it will either be status quo or -1 :(

P.S. No word on the 700-day Android???

Actually, CE is merely removed from calendar and becomes a private queue thing. That's definitely for the best.

Also, you do realize ship weapons can also work on shuttles? My favorite outfit is an S-class mark 11 phaser and a photon or quantum torpedo launcher, marks 10-12.

    Awesome changes. Like them all.

However I have my doubts about the "No win scenario". The Skill gap between lv50 players is quite large and I fear whatever the balance on this mission is, it will be nerfed so that lv 50 players that barely win Normal STFs will be able to get to at least, say, wave 5 or something, which may result into serious players beating all 10 waves with ease.

It will take munths if not years to get all the datalogs for the MK XII purrple set. :D

the reason most of us are using large ships in the event is because it got really old after like the second run thru.....having to run the entire map 70 odd times for 1 datalog a pop is the definition of grinding, especially since for many people you might be able to do except once or twice a week because fo the gated schedule.

It just faster to use big ships. I can get 5-6 runs in with big ships. With shuttles its 3-4. So IMO its not even a major exploit.

No one I know is doing the vault mission for any reason aside from the chip.

Maybe adding a random number of chips? or make the mission available every 2 hours?

I give it another month or so before you wont even get in when it spwans becuase no one is queing for it.

It already has resulted in that. Some folks from my pvp fleet tried it and didn't have too much trouble beating it, all we did was bring our pvp builds and go to town. ;)

They should make the no-win scenario twice as hard as it currently is, or at least extend it further so that PvP fleets like SP and TSI don't just roll through it.

Because of the nature of the mission (progressively harder difficulty that you aren't expected to beat) it shouldn't be too hard to balance for both the lowest common denominator and the elites, since it's not like the LCD is expected to beat the mission anyway,

Or maybe not "twice" as powerful, but perhaps have the difficulty increase exponentially for the last few levels. That way the "LCD's" can at least make it a decent way through, but the "GCD's" will still have something truly challenging to strive for. (if anything in this game can truly be considered even remotely challenging )

    1. If it ever bugs, fleets will be stolen left and right.

    2. If this isn't based on account login, then a character can have the fleet stolen even if the player himself is still active (within the fleet itself).

I hope you guys add a lot more than just "inactive for 30 days"

What if someone goes on holiday for a month or two? Is that reason enough to loose their fleet? I think not.
Now if it was done in some other way I might approve. Have no ideas atm on how but I'll get back to that when I do.

Tried the Colony Invasion and No Win Scenario. Loved both of them. More missions like that please.

I'm sorry to see the Crystaline Entity go, but Cryptic made it way too hard to do.
After all Enterprise D could solo it. Why shouldn't a 5 player team be able to do that as well?

The only drawback I can say about this is that there are almost no one playing on Tribble so getting in to these maps are difficult at best, impossible most times.

They could make a Normal and Elite version of these two new missions like they have on the STFs.
The PUG I was in for No Win Scenario was 2 Sci and 3 Tac. We got to wave 7.

Though this no longer applies to me... it is so easy for a military person to go away for a month or more.. in the National Guard add the advance party, your typical two week camp... add in a common second camp and viola... a month has passed... in regular army... well... come on... not much explanation is required here.

How about a 30 day warning... 60 day dire warning and a 90 day take-over... and/or the ability to appoint a temporary owner for 90 days for extended leaves??

In short, I agree that 30 days is unfair to 1) military personnel in which the fleet recognized this fact, 2) college students, 3) volunteers to help needed areas (disaster areas and missionaries), 4) those that become ill or have family emergencies. I am sure there are other cases. 30 days is simply not long enough. However a temporary or deputy owner would also suffice in these cases.. in which the ownership remains, but entrusted that the deputy logs in within 30 days and the actual owner returns in 6 months (some time limit here - not indefinite)

This is fair ,If you are a good fleet leader you will have people bellow your rank ready to take the fleet from you and give it back .That is "leader" .If you cant do that you don't deserve to be a leader :p

This is an item our fleet has been in need of. Unfortunately, our Fleet Leader passed away a few months ago. There is no way for us to claim leadership. Submitting tickets to Cryptic result in two options from them...one is to wait for the leader to come back (??????) or create a new fleet. Creating a new fleet is not an option because we would lose all of our bank items and cash. The slots we paid for as welll (which was done when our population was high, but it was earned nonetheless and we shouldnt have to lose it)

I definitely do not want to see fleets stolen, but, the Devs MUST come up with a way for a legitimate plan of action to recover leadership of a fleet in the event of absence of the leader...
