Yeah, definitely the same family of visuals for the new Chroniton items/sets. Not sure it's quite my style, but it's very flashy and spectacular.
Me? I've been waiting for this set. All my Captains carry this rifle. Not for the flashiness, but that hidden effect that sometimes dazes your enemies. I love confusing Tholians on the first shot, then finishing them off before they get their wits back. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, I'm a happy camper.
Okay, a brighter Risa shot for me today. And a lesson learned. I ran Demorecord through the whole race, finished first by a good length for once and couldn't claim the flag because of demorecord somehow. Go figure! Ha!
With a certain color scheme it even has similarities to "Toothless" (from "How to Train Your Dragon")!!! *^_^*
Amusingly, you're not the only one who came to that conclusion. Now, it'd be nice if the customization options included being able to recolor the 'eyes' and other blue-glowy bits.
