Ooh, funny story you guys would appreciate! My TV died the final death a couple days ago (not the funny part yet, stop laughing). So, yesterday I did some Costco shopping and dragged home a shiny new (bigger, naturally) TV. I have modified my Google Chromecast wallpaper slideshow to feed from a Google+ photo album of STO screenshots, and HOLY COW do they look fantastic at 60 inches! LOL. I haven't stolen any your guys' photos for my Google+ slideshow yet, but they look so good on screen I may just steal some now.
Looks kind of like a castle on a lonely hill.
Now it kind of looks like an old observatory on a hill. Don't worry. Scooby and the gang will stop old man whither's evil plans.

Amusingly, you're not the only one who came to that conclusion. Now, it'd be nice if the customization options included being able to recolor the 'eyes' and other blue-glowy bits.
