"U.S.S Neptune investigates some odd readings in a dying star."
I really like this one, but I could not use it for my desktop. It clipped away part of the connie.
It's such a huge cap that I centered it on the connie, capped just that and used just that to make a new PNG.
Where there's a will, there's MS Paint.

I had to dust off my Science Raider build tonight to document it for the "Sci-It-Up" fun over in the General Discussion forum. Decided to snap a couple of shots of Sylphrena doing her thing. It's a bit of an odd little build, but so much fun to fly.

Pulled out my Paradox Temporal Dreadnought out of Dry-Dock and made a screenshot with it.

I already liked those snipets in pictures we saw in story blogs. With all the plants in walls, pillars...
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Amidst the uncertainty of the 25th century remain among other certainties this pair:
si vis pacem, para bellum (Latin; trans. 'If you want peace, prepare for war')
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." -Sun Tzu
With this in mind, consider the following...
They who strike first can tilt the field to their advantage; zone pause (not used in this case because of apparent issues it causes with demorecord) is a big help
As noted, Tzenkethi backpacks can remain active after their operator is taken out; they act much like the Vaadwaur shield drones, except that they do not move. If a Tzenkethi is suddenly invulnerable, at least one of these is in play - note that its effect beam looks very similar to a tetryon beam
Pounce. No longer just for Ferasans and Caitians
Except for happening in mid-engagement, this would be a textbook triangulated ambush. The markers are warnings for a ground analogue of Cannon Spread Volley
Thanks; I probably should've gotten in some environment shots too; the art guys did a good job with that map.
btw - What weapon was used in the last slide? The effect looks new to my eyes.
Tetryon HDR (High-Density Rifle); the, ah, Lovely Angels use the 'full auto' version...
Really, calling them full-auto is kind of silly when not only are their fire modes both bursts, but actual full-auto rifles exist in the game (referred to for some odd reason as piercing beam rifles)... and why you can't craft those in the various flavors escapes me, too.

That explains it. I tend to stick to Split Beam Rifle and Dual Pistols ( for the 2nd weap of my CO ) when ever I can. Sprinkle in a bit of Knock Back or DoT and I'm a happy camper.

I'll check it out. But I gotta warn ya, I'm lazy when it comes to change.

Who?
Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.
I dare you to do better.
Not mine. Posted today in a coming attractions Anni Event thread. Hoping to see in-game caps here soon.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
Shuk-din frigate; actually seen as the discus-like ship in this piece of concept art (bottom right).
Firing tetryon DBBs; the crescent is the telltale for its use of Newtonian flight mode (Pilot ability: Lock Trajectory)

Firing tetryon torpedo spread - not a misprint; they do indeed have an analogue to the Entoiled Technology torpedo

Double flyby of Rhas'bej by USS Zatmeniye and LSS Reskava
