I cant claim my T3 excelsior or Nebula

I rolled a new Eng toon and when i reached commander i went to claim my excelsior and was told to pay 800 C-store points. I already paid for it when it first came out. I looked in the forums to see if they changed it and i found this posted by geko. "BTW, if you bought the T5 excelsior, you should be able to continue to claim the both the T5 and T3 variant. Only going forward will they be sold separately" so when did this change or is this a bug please help.

They lied your not going to get it, It was said to boost sales of the T5 ships and it worked. Now move along.

You read right but as it turns out Cryptic's approach to the matter is that even though you read right, you also read wrong. And no that makes no sense to me either.
