Nebula Science Retrofit one time claim?

I was just browsing the c-store and i came across a possible error.

When you buy ships they unlock account wide, as can be seen by the 99% available.

However, when i looked at getting the nebula retrofit (which i already purchased for my main) for my science alt i noticed it says i have to buy it again??

Now looking on the website c-store it says you can only claim this item once??? Why is this not account wide like every other ship in the store??

    When you purchase that ship, it becomes available for 0 EC from the Ship Vendor. Therefore, there is no need to "claim" it multiple times.

    I think I'm accurate on this as i JUST did it yesterday with that exact ship, but a second opinion would be helpful.

    Also, the turn rate on that Nebula is too slow. That ship was supposed to be more manuverable than the Galaxy, i thought. They used one to chase down the Prometheus.

    You can claim it on multiple characters, but like all starships, you can only have one of each type and any one time. If you decommission a C-store ship, you can reclaim it again.

    This is how some players collect multiple TOS blue phasers for use on other ships, they repeatedly claim and decommission the TOS Constitution.

    Yup, once bought in the C-store you can't claim it, unlike most of the other c-store ships you have to go to the shipyard and buy it for 0 EC. The purchase of the Nebby is account wide so your alts/future alts will have access to it.

    Chase as in go faster than the Prometheus in a straight line and intercept it ;) The Nebby is a Cruiser/Sci hybrid so turns slower than other sci vessels, on the plus side however if you have a Nebby you can get the Long Range Science Vessel Refit and as it and the Nebby share ship skills you can use two ships without needing to reskill all the time.
