I'm curious if the above item is ever coming to the C-Store. I never hear anybody talk about it, and it's a fairly powerful console, all things considered. It was an Atari-Exclusive, which is what worries me most about getting it.

I know a lot of "Pre-Order" items are not available due to a contract to main exclusivity for certain stores, but that has to run out eventually, right? It certainly did the CONNIE, as well as the GOLD TRIBBLE, which made it into the C-Store not long after launch.

So, Cryptic, or even other knowledgable players, what are the odds of this hitting the C-Store at some point.

PS: I am by no means a Pay-To-Win advocate. Infact, I HATE Pay-To-Win, but at this point, most of OUR exclusives for the Pre-Orders have hit the C-Store (Sans a few), so why not this?

I would adore being able to have this console. It seems that I'm always loosing hundreds of crews to single impacts and there isn't any efficient way to recover them.

Wasn't aware of that console, it looks like a buffed version of the Bio-Monitor console. However assumion the description on the STO Wiki is correct, it is an exclusive item and as such should not be placed in the C-Store.

I'm hopping with the Dutty Roster system, they re-adjust how crew effects the ship and how easily crew can be knocked out or killed. If they do, we may need to re-evaluate how powerful these consoles are.

    Tru dat.

Every time I'm too close to an enemy that goes kaboom (which is often due to me forgetting to use "countermeasures" for such situations) I immediately lose anywhere from 3/4 to my entire crew.

But dstahl has frequently stated in his Engineering Reports that all preorders and other exclusives (the sole known exception being the Red Matter Capacitor) will eventually make it to the C-Store, exclusivity deals pending.

Well that's good to hear that one day it will be made available. Naturally crew isn't vital in most of the fast paced combat, but when you're tanking for a small fleet of escorts sometimes crew is all you got left on your cruiser and you just need it to buy you a few more critical seconds.

well with the new f2p model they are working on I would think things like this and many other goodies will be coming out...I would think this might be a reason why we have yet to see these items...I mean if they were contemplating going F2p you now have a bunch of items people already want, and will pay for. They make money and people are happy.

I also wouldnt mind seeing (ship) class based items.

But couldn't you say the same thing about ALL the Pre-Order & Vendors Perks, such as the Borg BO, the Rivera Tribble, the TOS Constitution class ship... (all currently available in the C-Store)

I've never heard of that console. If I had, I'd have bought that copy of the game too. Since Atari isn't part of STO anymore fat chance in ever getting this puppy.

And the EMH console was offered as a limited promotion that lasted for only one weekend, (talk about limited) so even if Atari was still selling STO, you'd still be out of luck...

Daaaaaang! I guess we can only hope for the devs to rerelease it some other way. And that's a BIG hope.

I own this console; it's really not that spectacular.

The on-demand crew heal is okay, but, to be honest, there's very situations where I'm alive long enough for periods of combat where I'd want the extra hull healing from the crew being alive.

In most situations, it's largely impractical because:
    1) The fight is going to be over soon, so your crew will regenerate fairly quickly, anyway.
    2) You're already heavily damaged, and you're going to die.
    or
    3) You're already heavily damaged/the fight will be awhile longer, and the next hit will knock out most of the crew you just healed.

I'm not against putting it in the C-Store for people who want it, with the other missing promotional items, i'm just saying it actually appears to be much better than it is.

I've started pulling it off of my ships, because I honestly just never find a good time to use it other than when I don't feel like waiting for my crew to come back by themselves.

I completely agree. I'd like to see all the pre-order content on the C-Store. In particular, I'm desperate to get my hands on the Steam deployable phaser turret. Since I already own the game on steam, I can't buy another copy to get it. But ultimately, I'd like to see everything on there.
