I would like for Cryptic to consider allowing players to purchase a species change from the C-Store. I could start all over with a new character, however my unique items and BOs from weekly episodes would be gone. Does anybody know if this is a consideration they have looked into already?
Actually, no, they didn't yet.
I wouldn't have anything against a racial sweap or gender sweap. C-Store sells everything, so I belive this particular mechanics won't be wrong there.
Talking about species. Maybe the dev's really should think about to give the racial properties for the alien editor free as well. Maybe a lot more people would buy the species. The most STO players use, similar to me the alien editor...even for buildig plain and simple humans.
Im tired of being a Klingon and want to be a Nausican instead,....but it would take me a year or more to get a Nausican tac max level and as well equipt as my Klingon. Its so sad, I hope Cryptic allows species changes in the C-Store soon.
Belive me, you are definetely not the only one. That is the main reason I play a alien build in the alien editor. It is way easier. If I got bored of whatever I am, I just swap to another build. And that's that. -THis is the bigest power of the alien editor. beide this there are more free choices for your racial traits.
I do not make publicity for the alien editor, however it is a fact, that the most people who use it, do it for the same reasons. Cryptic should've known this from the begining.
