Can't create fleet?

I went to create a fleet, and clicked on the chick you click on at the starbase to create a fleet, named it, typed in description then when i click create it does nothing. just beeps at me. anyone know whats going on?

    you need a group of 5 to start an fleet.

    Yes, and you must be a Gold player too, now.

    I have over 100 Days of Subscription and i can't create a fleet.

    I get this Massage:

    [Fleet] Error creating fleet: Newly created account can not send or receive fleet invites.

    But has anyone an idea why i can't create a Fleet.

    I match all the possible Requirements

    A previous Subscription: Subscribed For 111.02 days
    Over 20h Playtime: Yes!
    Carrying a Cryptic Point balance: I have over 500 CP

    hmm, based on that you should be able to, that said, are you CURRENTLY subscribing? If so then its some sort of off the wall bug. I'd ticket it. Oh and make sure you have 5 un fleeted folks with you, I think, they need to be qualified as well, but that I'm not 100% on.

    This might be a dumb question, but what do you mean by "you need 5 players"? Do you mean, all standing in front of the fleet ambassador at once? Or a team of 5 friends? Or 5 invites? Thanks.

    Same problem here.
    • 5 Players
    • All 11h and more playtime
    • Two former Gold Players
    • One active Gold Player (me, with many, many CP)

    All on same map and instance. Error:
    Error creating fleet: Newly created account can not send or receive fleet invites.

    Actually, the F2P Matrix states 20 hours of play time... 11 hours doesn't meet this criteria...

    I think its not only the Playtime but also the time between Account Creation and the Fleet Create try.

    subscribe to this question , i have a team of 5 but i can't make a fleet. what is the problem ? must be all 5 in front of fleet ambassador ?

    Each member of the team must have played for 20 hours, or made a Cyptic Store purchase, or hold a subscription (Gold). They can not already be a member of a fleet.

    also all 5 people must be in the same instance. even if not in the same area of said instance.

    I'm running into the same error as well; two Golds and three freebies, all with 20+ hours on the clock. Has anyone else heard anything? I'd submit a ticket, but well...

    Same damn problem here.... Took ages to get 5 people only to be told I am a new player...

    With 7 max level characters and multiple cpoint purchases, I am fully qualified to create a fleet (as per http://sto.perfectworld.com/about/freetoplay/features-matrix)!

    Really frackin annoying!!!

    Same problem here, I ask some guys but many guys say it's hard to create a fleet please join mine and send me some spam, I just want a help how to make it work to create a fleet don't want any invites from another fleet. How I fix that error ?? It's so hard to tell ?

    Same error here, I just want to ask how I fix the error:Error creating fleet: Newly created account can not send or receive fleet invites. Don't tell I need 5 members and at the same place. I know that, want to fix the problem why my members can't receive fleet invites ? Why Cryptic create so much preasure with this rules ? And I don't want any invites from another fleets.
    Just why ? You need 5 members I know that, I hate this error but what I hate the most is that people speak about another stuff and don't keep the idea. I don't want any ideas just how to fix this error. I know some fleet say "hey it's hard to create a fleet, please join mine". And I don't want it's so hard to understand. Why this rules with , C-store or other stuff the games it's for fun not so much hard work :|." U must have that, and that. Oh and that to !"

    I know u hates bugs, how the "masters" who create this game said. Yes I hate but please with short words how I can fix the problem, error not bug ?
