Melee Weapons Pack

i bought the melee weapons pack the other day, thinking alrighty im gonna get a beautiful sword in the pack for myself, but wat do i find in there 2 weapons only, the damn useless bat'leth and a crappy lirpa.. i want my sword to slash and hack, not something to push and prod, very dissapointed cryptic..:mad:

    It tells you what you get. No info about a sword. Why should there be a sword included?

    apparently someone cannot read product descriptions, maybe next time read about what you are purchasing, or are you the kind of OP that buys random stuff then complains that there is nothing that you actually wanted.

    They should add the Tsunkatse, the Nausigaan blade, a Katana, and a Raiper to the pack.

    I'd like more melee weapons in general, though.

    To the OP, you have only yourself to blame. It is written quite clearly in the description that the pack only contains the Lirpa and Bat'leth. Now, would I love to see more melee weapons there? Hell, yeah...particularly Mek'leth, D'k tahk, and sword. But at least I knew what I was getting (haven't bought it yet...waiting on next sale).

    read the discriptions befor you buy things, it's all in there. your disapointment should realy be aimed at your self

    Well As Always It Just Goes To Prove That Its Better To Get The Items Free Within The Game Than Paying For Stuff From Cryptic, But As I Said It Would Have Been More Useful A S A 4 Weapon Pack Instead Of The 2 In It, And As For Being Called Stupid, Keep Your Remarks To Yourself, I Didnt Ask For Stupid Replys I Just Simply Stated It Would Have Been More Resourceful To Have A Nausican Sword Than A Useless Lirpa Or Bat'leth Which In My Opinion No One Really Likes Using In The Game Anyways.. Now Im Just Dissapointed That The Wrong People Replied To This In The First Place... Shows Its Not Worth Writing In The Forum Doesnt It..

    If you play one of the Featured Episodes on the Romulan front (is it called Arena?), you have the opportunity to go back into the holding pens where you pick up common melee weapons and grab another, which can be common to rare. I got some cool sword that I gave to a buddy because he wanted it. You can get these kinds of weapons, just play that mission.

    Actually its the reman mission coliseum and yeh i take people in there to get their mix of weapons which are the uncommon weapons set which is coloured green, so that was why i expected at least a nausican sword in the melee pack..

    I got a rare naussican sword from the Coliseum, but then again, I have a purple anti-borg bat'leth.

    Don't blame Cryptic if you didn't read.

    The Bat'leth and the Lirpa are actually quite nice. They level with you.


    However...I do agree that a more Melee should be added...


    If we just stick with Fed/KDF.....there are WAY more then the ones we see that are available.

    maybe add a romulan weapon when they get added as a faction, just so we dont get threads saying why do the feds and klingons get everything, but yeh the pack gives nice weapons (for lower levels, i'll keep my purple lirpa for my main) and melee in general will improve with season 4, just because the number 3 attack becomes useful with guns, i fine no need for a melee weapon on the test server now.

    actually for your information though when u go in game to the c-store it states nothing about wat is in the melee pack, as i checked it and even if u place your cursor upon it ,it still doesnt state wat is in it and as for being called a whinger, its well known that the poms are the biggest whingers of the world thanks.... so keep your smart remarks to yourself.

    Thanks for that i didnt know that been using my white level one in stfs will go and try and get a purple one.

    But i agree it should be in the pack on the c-store makes sense doesnt it

    In all fairness though, it DOES say what you get and sword isn't included BUT at the same time for that kind of money it's not really worth how little the weapons pack gives you. the C-store can be kind of Stingy that way. More so lately then before.

    just... for the reccord.... Batleth is the best melee weapon ingame, Sword is the worste, testest it same build same spec, same traits and same armor, batleth won

    umm I was just looking at it they spell out the contents quite clearly

    I've seen the same bug: The C-Store was stuck on asking me if I want to buy ship slots instead of listing the description of the currently selected item.

    Thus it was indeed telling me nothing about what I was buying, leaving me only with the pictures to go by.

    I got this bug by going into the C-Store while I had another store window open (ship requisitions).

    Closing both windows and re-opening the C-Store from the minimap fixed it, but I can see how the OP got into trouble, if they couldn't see the text.

    I got a nice blue Crit Damage x2 one last night on my LT8, which was very nice. Considering I made said character as a melee specialist, it's especially lethal.

    well seeing as my original post got moderated for some reason which i won't go into, Time Lord, as other posters have stated it indeed does tell you what you are getting in the melee pack if you click on the details tab, this was also true before the new c-store update and also after the c-store update.

    Next time please check things before telling someone false information.
