Actually, I don't remember if I ever whined about it on these boards, but even if I didn't, I wanted one really, really bad.
Now that I actually have one, it's kinda lame, really. I like pets when my captain avatar is on the ground, but a ship pet? Boring, stupid waste of time. It is clear to me now that the only reason I wanted it so bad before was that I couldn't have it.

I do not have one, have no need for another shuttle pet, and feel ok not having one. Since someone did 'whine' about not getting one, I feel its ok since it did benefit the OP. Now, can we address other whines? Maybe get a tribble-killing accolade?
...so a portion of my guts reacted to fake Mexican food. Real Mexican food is what your grandma makes when you go to her house to visit. Del Taco, Taco Bell, Alcapulco's, El Torrito and all that? Lol - this describes them.
He's evil petting it. He's actually working on a giant laser that could destroy us all from orbit, yet he maintains a good cover.
QFT. I tried to warn people, LOL. I drove 40 miles to a Del Taco to get one, and although the food was excellent, the shuttle itself was meh.
I wasn't complaining about it so much as pointing out the contrast in my reactions, which underscores how much of my previous reaction was driven by you-can't-have-it syndrome.
Definitely not addicted.
I used to be, although not with this game. I started the transition from obsessive-compulsive MMORPG-player to casual player before I started playing this game the first time.
As someone who has learned to appreciate real Mexican food, I still love me some *******ized Tex-Mex and even whatever you call that stuff from the fast food places. I just think of it as a separate category now.
Before the Runbaout pet came it was the only pet and I had it almost a year^^ And I think its funny to have pets arround.
And I dont really get why you start this threat now, did you expect the del taco to work in any way diffrent then all the other shutle pets that (now) are in game??????

Forgive me for not explaining.
I ended my STO subscription a long time ago, then came back relatively recently. It wasn't until after I purchased a peregrine fighter that I learned that other "ship pets" exist in the game now. When I left, the Del Taco pets were the only pets I knew about, and they were only available in a fairly limited region.
I'm from Germany so I dont have a Del Taco even remotly close.
There was a guy somewhere arround who gave away those codes for 1,50 via pay pall. As far as I know he bought litarally thousands of those codes for players from other regions. I didnt regret to pay that.
