Unable to obtain bought items from c store.

I did request GM help and this has no been forwarded to the bug ticket system so Cryptic is 'dealing with it'.

In other news has anyone else had this problem or know how this can be fixed?

I bought the CE version and activated the code which gave me the red matter capacitor in the c store. After obtaining the item I used it then discarded it after the buff had worn off but before the cooldown ended. Now the c store says 'already purchased' and when I hover over that it says the item is already in my inventory.

Whether the circumstances of the item being in cooldown matter I don't know but I had herd people have this trouble before and instead of watching paint dry I thought maybe the community would give me something preferably not automated:p (you can tell I'm used to Cryptic's customer service by now:o).

At the very least we can hopefully pull together our requests that this bug be looked at asap as this is real money we are paying and slgihtly different to an in game item.

    Yeah its happened to me with some ships i bought a week ago. bought the prommy and Nebula, on my tactical it let me claim the prommy but for nebula it just says "Already purchased" and i dont have either of the Nebulas on my char and i have free ship slots. I'm not going to waste my time asking someone from cryptic to help me with it because knowing them, they wont. As long as they get their monies, they dont care.

    Why did you discard the red matter capacitor?

    Testing something that's all. Now I wish I hadn't. It's only affected 1 toon but it's my main fed.

    Btw I tried obtaining my multi phasic shield I got at launch and discarded but that instantly became available again. Also I was able to obtain the RMC on my tribble toon that I made beforehand but when I made a new copy it wouldn't (obvious information I know).

    Possible solution - remove the RMC from all my toons but I dare not do that unless Cryptic says that's what to do.

    To get the Nebula and such try the ship yard and claim it like you would any other higher teir ship when you level.

    It should be there, as well as the Re-Intrepid, Re-Defiant, and Re-Galaxy

    Other ships that are not part of the progression tier IE.....the ship is not obtainable by in game means, those are the ones that pop up in yer ship inventory automatically.

    As for the red matter doo hickey, try reclaiming the thingy in the c-store via a different menu....

    Different menu? I've tried waiting for the cooldown to expire in case that was going on in the background, changing instances, logging out/in. I'm not sure how else I could obtain a c store item other than through the c store tab in the top right corner.

    So basically your theory was use the RMC, toss it, then claim it with the cooldown gone? So basically ya tried to circumvent the cooldown system and instead got smacked with a c-store bug :p Lesson learned eh? ;)

    As far as I know you're pretty much outta luck on this one. There's no way to claim a c-store item cept through the c-store and if it's bugging out saying already purchased then only support can help you.

    Well luckily I've been able to reclaim it so I'm okay BUT my point was to highlight how this bug comes about. Trying to circumvent wasn't my intention as trying to do what I would need to do in the middle of combat wouldn't work would it:rolleyes:?

    Not sure really why I did it, just thought I'd test a theory as I've heard it happen to others but I've not had problems (now I have). Until Cryptic tells us how this bug happens I would be careful to discard anything that is in use or on cooldown and only discard if you have to. Next time I test I'll remember to get on tribble.
